I get his persona is over the top, but hes meh as a streamer for me
I much prefer watching the Battlefield streamers (Xfactor/Jackfrags/Matimio etc) play squads
StoneMountain has some really funny PUBG videos too on his youtube channel
So this is the solution they found for server lag?

One thing that helped me is to cancel then retry connecting. I have to do that everytime now, even when I first launch the game.
But y'all probably tried that.

I don't think I am going to be able to play anything but FPP from now on. It is really great. So much different in terms of intensity.
I think winning is incidental. Having good fights and killing people is where the fun is.
If spending a lot of time hiding without making a peep gets you a win -- that might be fun a time or two, but it has to get old.

Not my fault some games I don't see anybody until the last 10, lol. I love playing action though, losing is still fun for the crazy gunfights.

I am so pumped for ]Squad FPP. Just duo is a drastic change, squad is going to be intense. Can actually have someone on 'overwatch.' As much as I love the third person camera for the peeking, it just takes away a lot of the OH SHIT moments for me. So many times already in FPP i'll be running or right near someone and we both had no idea.

Got 7th in Solo. Seriously, it's getting to be a trend to be in the top 10 by the end for most games. I only killed 3 people, but I still think I played it smart.

That's weird. Why not? I could sell the crates I bought immediately.
Also, I don't think there will necessarily be tons in a week. It's a rare item. Though I'm fairly confident it will not be worth as much as it is now. It's 'new' and 'hot' for the moment and the whales are chomping at the bit.
Camo hot pants is from Gamescom crates isn't it? So everyone that has them will only be able to sell them at a similar time as you.

Hold on, if you can't sell those hotpants right now, how come someone else is, for example, selling a purple mini-skirt right now? Did you install the Steam app and set up mobile verification of market listings? I know I had to deal with mandatory wait times of a couple weeks maybe before I set up the app.
Seems well worth the cash to get on that. With that money, you wouldn't have to pay for Steam games for quite a while.

You can't sell the items from the Gamescom crates (because of the 1 week hold on the keys). You can sell the items from the regular survivor/wanderer crates

I recall reading right as this went live people didn't have the 7 day waiting period and then they instituted that. So I think those people slipped through.
I will probably play it safe and just keep crates to sell later.
I see. Thanks for clearing that up. I suppose El Topo will just have to sell after the wait is over, then.

Yeah I'm with you dude, that dude's attitude about it is laughable, as if it's so unbelievable that someone doesn't want or need an unfair advantage..or just not wanting to look at something that looks like total garbage like that footage.
Same kinda people who would just boost their gamma in night maps of Arma 3 battle royale, why even play the game at that point?
