Had a squad match last night, we got down to two people alive, one teammate and one enemy.

Network lag detected, few minutes later, disconnected from server.

This is happening way too often since the monthly update. Thought it was their servers but it's obviously something else, seems others are getting it too but not everyone.

Getting shot at, mighty Pan gets hit. *must be coming from behind* Turn around, get shot in the back because the guy was in front of me all along.

The Pan works in mysterious ways.

I dropped in school and had a guy blast me point blank with a double barrel

My pan blocked it all and I killed him while he tried to reload

He was pretty mad judging from his garbled swearing as I looted him

Just cancel and reconnect if it hangs for more than 10 secs

Always works for me

My brother in law is having this problem as well, he tried Verifying file integrity, ipconfig /flushdns, and even reinstal the game and nothing works.

This seems to be affecting a lot of people but the dev's are silent about it, which is disappointing.

I wonder if it's intentional for the RNG to have a whole village to just have pistols and nothing else. Seems like it should have parameters to prevent that. Makes your run a bit vain. It forces creativity, but I'm not sure if it's a good thing in totality.

One thing I want to say that would improve the game for me a little is if the last circles didn't end up in open areas. It could just be my own experience but I wish it would end up in towns or villages, whatever. It would make the end gameplay a little more fun if it was more diverse in these regards.

I want to like the clothing in the game, but their colors are all so muted and malasial. And still no flowing capes or scarfs that catch the eye. I don't care if they make me stand out more; I'll take that hit to look fabulous.

There is so much more color in the world, please use it.

Bought this, is it possible to refund with 3 hours of play?

The game has hard crashed on me 4 times, and the game constantly freezes and doesn't load in buildings or environments for the first 50 seconds.

Even with all my settings on ultra low. Going to update drivers and see if that fixes anything, anyone got any tips for fixing it ?

First early access game I bought, my fault really but Christ.

Specs?

It certainly has its moments, but after 50 hours of play I've never had a crash. It's pretty damn polished.

Sounds like you lost the PC gaming lottery, as we all know that can happens sometimes when something just refuses to work :(

If you have an SSD put the game on it, that should fix the buildings not loading in.

Why does the sound suck so much on speakers? On my shitty Samsung earphones that came with my phone I can hear everyone and judge the direction of gunfire/vehicles, but on expensive speakers I can't.

Really odd. I wish I didn't have to play with earphone all the time.

In games like Counter-Strike I can judge footsteps etc perfectly using speakers. Mixing problem?

The sound is great for me with 2.1 speakers and a sound card. It helps to use volume/sound normalization either in Windows or your sound card settings to boost the sound of footsteps etc.

Maybe you have your sound settings set to headphone mode or have additional surround processing that messes with the speaker's sound?

Yesterday I found five 8x scopes in amongst four houses just west of Mylta Power. They definitely need to work on spreading the loot around the map more evenly.

Some open fields aren't too bad if they have hay bales or ridges for cover etc. but the open wheat fields with no cover at all are pretty shite. Everyone turns into a "snek" and just slithers around, it makes for a boring ending.

I just had a match end in the ruins near Pochinki, that was a great spot to finish. Lots of cover and it was just good close-quarters fighting.

I've found dozens of SKS and Vectors and yet i've only managed to find a KAR98 once.

IMO the best spot in the game for loot right now is the Mylta Power warehouse. There's nearly always a Kar98 there(there were two in my last game) or an SKS, and a high chance of level 3 vests and helmets, 8x and 4x scopes, sniper cheek pads and mags, AR's and med kits. Even when the plane flies straight over it only a few people will land there most times.

I don't think so, but I will check.

What machine are you on? Im on a laptop running an 870m and i cab play on high settings and ultra view distance with no problems.

I know this pain.

There was a period a couple months back where for several days had just awful luck with the RNG gear. I was lucky if I found an uzi.

Recommendation: Drop into one of the dock areas, with the shipping crates and warehouses. You will find better gear.

And several other players usually.

No. Everyone would just camp in a building.

Everyone camps anyway. Doesn't matter anyway, the circle keeps closing and closing. There are always ways to clear a room with your teammate, or even if playing solo.

I found a way to mask your footsteps, if you pop a smoke, it will mask your footsteps. So if you're clearing a 3 story building, pop a smoke nearby. They might know you're there but they can't anticipate you since, no footsteps...

GTX 670
8 GB Ram
I5 3570K

Just updated drivers so I will see if it works, but it's super dissapointing as the one game I could play with good performance was really fun :/

Fighting in buildings is the worst, no thanks. Also, making the circle favor any particular location would just mean that people can predict where the circle goes which is the opposite of what it's trying to achieve.

Variation in end zones is a good thing.

That's all I'm asking instead of always ending up in an open field.

So, anyway, how random is the circle? Is it truly random or is it pre determined by other factors such as the population or lack of population of players in an area? Just asking, how is the circle determined?

Oh! I misunderstood.

You'll get end zones that are in built up areas. But they're rare. So much of the map is wilderness.

Being able to predict the last few circles would be a terrible design decision imho.

Nobody knows how random it is, but the idea is that locations or certain types of environments (aside from water vs land) don't influence where the circle goes.

Took the plunge played a couple of games and I do like it.

first game solo blue zoned killed me...

Tried duo with random MM but nobody is communicating.

Anyone want to noob up on EU server with me?

Also how do you aim down sights? I've seen people on twitch do it but I can't seem to?

Last first-person game, I dropped on a farmhouse but another dude got there before me. I managed to grab a nearby buggy and started driving towards military base, since the plane didn't fly over it. I flipped it trying to go up the side of the military base mountain. Looted the little building close to the mountain radio, but found only a pistol (with only one mag of ammo) and a frag. As I'm heading over to the airplane hangers, I see another guy run into the first one. He must've taken the loot before I got there.

His back is turned to me, so I try to get closer. By the time he's looting the second hanger, I've caught up. I hide in the bushes next to the hangar, and when he comes out I pull out my grenade. Thankfully he doesn't notice the pin pull and starts running across the airstrip to the next hanger. I toss the grenade in front of him, pull out my pistol, and start shooting. Surprised, he turns around, AK in hand. But before he can do anything, the grenade explodes and his corpse is thrown into the air.

I like first person mode.
