It's always weird when people strip a game down to the basic mechanics, point at those and say "SEE? BORING!"

Every game is "Press Button to Win" if you really want it to be.

I've never seen this complaint before. One reason it's so popular is because one round is like no other.

Any game is repetitive if you break down the mechanics to "you just score goals" or "you just shoot some guys". And I think the gameplay loop should be repetitive to a rather large degree - if it isn't you'll likely deal with huge balance issues and inconsistent gameplay.

The circle can end up anywhere, and I think that makes it fun. It shouldn't always end up in the cities, or in areas with a lot of buildings. Both variations are fun in their own way. When it's out on an open field without any cover whatsoever, you'll feel unsafe - but so will everybody else! It's great.



It's totally a valid strategy, but generally I think it's less fun. I'd rather jump into the action and challenge people.

Fair enough, maybe Im not giving it a fair shake, but it's hard not to see that it really isn't as complex as I assumed it to be.

I just find the content to be limited-- lots of samey buildings and uninteresting areas... Game forces the areas to close in fairly quickly resulting in final matches feeling forced and unnatural. I wish the closing stages took longer or maybe incentivized movement for different reasons. Supply drops are great in this regard

I ordered a refund after 5 hours...I want to jump back in but am afraid of having the refund invalidated. It's really hard for me to determine my enjoyment as of now.

Had my first encounter with a Groza. Two shots and I was dead with level 2 armor. At least top ten but still no Chicken Dinner.

Wow, seeing stuff like this always makes me wonder how someone hits when I can barely see the enemy, because it's the size of a pixel. Do you just shoot in the general direction where they are likely to be at, or how does that work?

This one started how really nerve racking. Landed in an area with a couple guys and no weapons. Moved on to a Hanger and heard a guy outside. Shot him as he came at me but ended up dying at the end so close to the zone..

get an AWM for the first time, shoot someone center mass from like 50m away, still get killed by him. Seemsgood. Call me crazy but I think the heaviest (?) sniper in the game should probably kill with a body shot from that range

I would like these two modes.

1. Start at a random point in the map with a random weapon. True battle royal style. Found items are way more rare.

2. Normal game mode but with just the military base island starts with a much smaller circle. Basically a way to have a game mode that lasts only 10-15 mins.

AWM does 132 damage, so it will oneshot on a torso hit if the guy has no armor. lvl 1 armor will keep him alive just about if he had full health.

Third person aiming in this game is such trash. I had two guys flank me and I was about 6 feet away from them and had an extended mag Groza in full auto and killed one but the other I shot 20 shots at and not one of them hit. It was fucking terrible.

Submitted a support ticket about the crate that i'm missing because the game decided not to give me it, and they basically just said "It's a bug, we'll fix it, eventually" and that was it...i don't think that's good enough, really. The game is in early access so yes, there will be bugs and it happening isn't unreasonable, but to have a player's item that has a monetary value that they're profiting from the sales of just vanish and then to not replace isn't a good thing. It's not as if the crate actually cost me anything, but i just expected them to not be so dismissive of the problem and provide another crate because it goes somewhat beyond just being an in-game system.

It'll probably be refunded. Despite what the rules say they'll pretty much refund anything as long as you list a reason, no matter how stupid. I got the money I spent on dark souls 3 back after 10 hours of playtime when I realized I wanted to wait for the goty edition, and made up some BS about it not being fun.

To this day I've probably refunded over 30 games, 5 of which went over the limit and never had a problem.

TBF 95% percent of those purchases I used as a way to check if the game would run on my (previously) shitty computer. Just hop in and see if everything runs smoothly. Unfortunately most of the time it did not.

If they wanted to start rejecting me for overuse I would totally understand why, but they haven't yet soo...
