Ugh. Anyone else have this issue where the high poly versions of buildings never load?
Happens to me probably 40% of the time and it's really annoying.
Yeah lol I've seen it a few times in my 300+ hours on my SSD. Pretty rare but it still happens. Also have had no buildings visible at all a few times.Just play enough :b
Steam has refunds ya know
Yeah, but they are not guaranteed. Knowing my luck I'd hate the game and then be refused a refund.
Rain is my favorite weather! It makes things both more and less dangerous, but it's such a lovely ambiance.Had 2 rain matches in a row
I hate rain matches in FPP

Is there any character progression between games other than cosmetics?

Don't remember where I heard this, but when the devs talked about adding a night map they also talked about finding ways to increase darkness that are immune to contrast and brightness tweaks.
I think fading everything to the same pitch of dark blue is something other games have used, but I'm just talking out my ass basically.
Yeah sometimes it feels like my game is quite smooth, then others I'm lagging all over the place, surely they can afford better servers now, have they ever commented on it?
what's the best way to record clips?
i tried windows game dvr and the audio is usually fucked up and stuttering and doesn't seem to capture my discord conversations ( which i want)
i'm now trying nvidia shadowplay and it seems pretty nice but it records my microphone audio at something like 2x the volume of the game and voices from discord. i tried turning it down to 50% and found that it actually affected my mic's volume and my discord pals couldn't hear me.
any ideas?
also lovin this game. got back to back squad dinners the other day after not winning a match for weeks
I'm such a liar. Now that the novelty of winning has warn off a bit, I might start getting super aggressive in the early game just to get some of that hectic free-for-all practice in.
I just back out of rain matches, shit is way too loud.

Huh, when did the update happen? The performance of the game is vastly improved that session I played earlier today compared to the games I played a few days ago.
I think I need to chill more when the circle contracts. I tend to want to go pretty quickly and get in it, but I find that I usually get killed when doing that. I think I need to take my time a little more.
They take a while for me to load, depending on where i land. It didn't used to happen but now it's quite a regular occurrence, they eventually load but it takes around a minute ejivj means important time is lost.
If you do it a lot, especially within a short period of time, they do crack down on you. They'll give you a warning first though.Uhhh, yes they are?
If you play less than two hours or own it for less than two weeks, it's an instant refund no questions asked...
My friend has 8GB RAM/SSD and gets the no textures issue quite often, I have 16GB RAM/SSD and have never had it.
Virtually every time I think I'll be super aggressive, I either:
* End up dying to a fully loaded autoshotgun / SMG within 5-10 seconds of touching the ground, despite racing for the ground as quickly as possible.
* End up playing like a coward for 10 minutes in a building while trying to locate someone I saw 8 minutes ago.
* End up seeing maybe 1 nearby person for the first 15 minutes.
I get like 70 to 90fps, but the game keeps fucking lurching in the early match. What's going on?
In addition to a shooting range with sniper rifles and targets at various distances that record hit registration, I would love an even faster respawn deathmatch mode. The best way for me now is to do a little of both. As far as being aggressive just look for a vest and a shotgun or smg and go find someone. I still like to go for wins but I find those scrambles at the beginning to be much more fun.
Swimming underwater is ~30% faster. It took literally 2-3 minutes of auto-swimming to reach Primorsk. There was maybe 1 other person who parachuted within miles, landing far away from me in Primorsk, and presumably unable to see my head bobbing for 3 minutes straight.
Wonder if they'll announce anything about vaulting or next big update at the end of GamesCom. I hope something comes out of it.
