You can enable it in the menu somewhere.I've noticed this a lot, but how do you have the indicators showing what weapons/gear you have?

edit: Sorry double post.
Google PUBG no recoil and prepare to get really pissed off. I wont post links here.
AFAIK they can't get banned for these either since its using Logitech and Razer software.

FPP mode default thingy i think?
Two new options under general/display I think? You can enable a HUD for weapons and gear/armor.
At some point. When is new content being released for this, like new maps or something? After a few weeks, I'm feeling bored with the game. It doesn't help that I got my first chicken dinner on the second day I owned the game.

Hey Gaf,
After 46 hours, I finally had my first chicken dinner! I did it with a fellow gafer, although he died within 2 minutes of the game!
I also had one kill, the last team died outside the circle.
EDIT:
Why does that matter?
You're probably trolling, but this is not true.
Going from a generic headset -> Sennheiser One -> Sennheiser HD700 made a world of a difference in PUBG.
Åesop;247953752 said:Any regular stereo headset will do, if you just want them for PUBG, since the game's sound is pure trash and stereo only.
Do you have examples of games with good audio?
So you prefer less things simulated as far as taking occlusion into account, distance, and total sounds that make up something being shot or being in the bullet's vicinity? What about games that you think actually try to simulate sounds in a shooter?battlefield

"Hunter225 died outside playzone."
Just completely remove the red zone.
It's a fundamentally bad mechanic that adds nothing to the game but annoyance, cripples one of your most fundamental senses and makes combat and awareness far less fun, it's annoying as shit just to listen to even when it's not on you, doesn't effectively do what it's supposed to do (it rarely ever kills, and when it does, it sometimes glitches and happens inside a building when you're supposed to be safe), and encourages the exact opposite behavior that it's supposed to (forcing people to camp in buildings instead of "flushing them out and forcing them to move").
When it happens on compounds in the center of the map (especially around Pochinki) or other hotspots, it can completely ruin a round from the get-go. Drop in an urban area to deliberately train your close quarters and shooting skills? Sorry, three red zones in a row, and a couple nearby enough to drown out all ambient sound. Drop anywhere and get a bad red zone (or three, or four) while you're still looting? Hope the circle and vehicle RNG favor you, because if not, then getting held up by a red zone means you're in a for a shit ton of running in the blue until getting sniped the second you finally see a player for the first time that round. Doesn't matter if you know you should have run earlier, there was a random chance (or two) of instantly dying dropped on your head during your window to move to new location.
Either completely rework the red zone, fake the randomness so it can't drop on the same location consecutively, or just remove it from the game entirely. It has no point.
That's a driver for it?
Heck, I am trying to break into Twitch streaming, I never even though of stooping so low.
The mixamp does the virtual stuff, I don't think you need third party software for that.
It's even worse when it has bug. Yesterday I had four consecutive red zones on my spot.
I had a 3 hit point reward today for a SCAR-L snipe, which I assume means 15 / 100 HP. Does that mean an arm or chest shot? The 5.56 rifles deals 41 damage, headshot multiplier is 2.5 (iirc) a lvl 2 helmet absorbs 40% so a headshot should deal 60'ish damage.
Level 1 helmet:
41*2.5*0.7 = 71.75
Level 2 helmet:
41*2.5*0.6 = 61.5
level 3 helmet:
41*2.5*0.45 = 46.125
The AK is only marginally better at 48 damage
Level 1 helmet:
48*2.5*0.7 = 84
level 2 helmet:
48*2.5*0.6 = 72
level 3 helmet:
48*2.5*0.45 = 54
The only way to one shot someone with a lvl 2 helmet and full health is with k98 or stronger rifle. If they have only used a first aid kit an SKS or up will do it (this is why you should ALWAYS top up health to full).
Same here, I have very few deaths that occur because of a bug or similar. But a lot of that is down to learning the game and avoiding the places where you die because of a bug or "shoddy" game design. For example learning how to jump over low walls and which walls you cannot jump over will save you countless deaths that will otherwise feel like its because of bad design. Same with cars, you learn to be careful when jumping in and out of cars to avoid exploding or accidentally running yourself over.
The M16 is a beast at long range, easily outclassing all the other assault rifles especially with a compensator fitted. Put that on semi auto and just tap tap tap away and you will absolutely murder the shit out of people at long range. The only weapon that would come close is a fully kitted M416 (with stock, grip, compensator)

I've had times when the red zone consistently followed me. One of the most frustrating rounds every as I was constantly running out of a red zone for the first 5 minutes. And when I didn't completely leave and was just running around trying to fight a guy, the red zone didn't kill either of us (ruins).
Anyways, I won 4 solo FPP games today (as well as a few top 5 finishes). Which I think is a clear sign of improvement. I'm getting much better reaction times when I see opponents. Even though this isn't a twitch shooter per say, it definitely requires some twitch shooting skills.
Grief. How many kills are you coming away with on average? I haven't won a game in 50+ hours and can't fathom getting to a point where I can win four in a day.
Thanks, that must have been it. Either of those would be 3 damage on a 15-point duo scale. From pubg-gaf games earlier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvuTPfCNCWA
Also I had this cool multi kill with a nice snipe:
https://streamable.com/rs7hq
5.56 ARs will do 21 damage to a limb and 18 damage to a level 3 vest.

Introducing first-person only DUO to OCE servers
"For SOLO and SQUAD, we plan to introduce FPP at a later stage when we have an increased user pool on OCE servers in order to ensure a pleasant experience for all Oceanic players."
http://playbattlegrounds.com/news/89.pu
Adding another game mode now can make it difficult to sustain matches at all times. Furthermore, we will add a new map when we move out of Early Access later this year. All of these factors would result in a divided player base for each of these modes and ultimately affect the time required for matchmaking, especially in those regions with a smaller player base.
Fucking finally. But they are still clinging onto the playerbase excuse which is ridiculous as it very clearly won't hurt our existing base considering players can jump into AS if they wanted FPP.Introducing first-person only DUO to OCE servers

Yeah, I had to reread that map part multiple times to make sure I wasn't crazy, because the implication is that desert map will be a different queue.
Fucking finally. But they are still clinging onto the playerbase excuse which is ridiculous as it very clearly won't hurt our existing base considering players can jump into AS if they wanted FPP.
Edit: they say they have stats backing up their claims and that those stats show our region has less than 500 between 1am to 12pm. That's fucking bullshit, considering I can always get a match instantly at any time of the day no matter the queue. Yeah I'm not the developer so I truly don't know the status but it just seems so unrealistic. If we were really struggling in OCE the game would be dead here because people would get pissed off and leave.
They also state that 20% of OCE plays on AS servers because of FPP, meaning that percent has been removed from the total pool because of their shit timeline. They then state that by adding FPP into OCE it'll split the playerbase and make queues longer but it shouldn't because we gain back the 20% missing and it gives us fucking options.
Just absolutely ridiculous how we are being treated, give us all the options like NA and EU or else it's blatantly missing game modes that others can access. That alone would turn me off the game. Giving the modes to us means we can choose and the playerbase will decide which ones they want to keep popular.
