The more kills I have to get for my squad the worse we finish. Perhaps I shouldn't bring a gun?
Surprised people are still playing TPP. FPP is so much more fair IMO
See, there actually is an indicator. If your gun is aimed in third person, you're close to a wall, and the barrel is pointed at a wall but the crosshair is aimed beyond the wall, a red circle appears where bullets will actually hit.Ya that's something I hope they address. At least have some kind of indicator on screen that your bullets will hit the wall. Gets frustrating when you try to stealth kill someone and end up totally giving away your position for nothing.

But: A) it can be very hard to notice, especially if you're colorblind because it might blend into the wall, B) it doesn't work in ADS (I believe) because in theory you're looking exactly where the barrel is pointing, and C) while I haven't tested it extensively, I feel like there are edge cases or "sour spots" (especially with shotguns) where it won't show up; I think maybe it's because the crosshair for shotguns is obviously bigger, so if the edge of the large circle is grazing the wall when you move or peek it thinks you're still technically aimed at the wall and not beyond it and thus won't show the indicator.

That shouldn't be possible.
In the same boat! I'll rush to help out friends who get jumped and remove the immediate threat but as I begin to revive one of them I'll get shot from the final enemy squad member. I usually try to assess the potential for flanking while reviving but sometimes in the heat you just can't allow that time.This. So much this.
I've died solo with 70+ people left in squad play close to 10 times this past weekend from simply going to help mates out who are in shit. I'll get 3 kills quickly, 4th guy off's me, then my team rushes in to kill him as a die.
Should I not help anymore? Lol.
Opened two Gamescon crates. Got pink (at least that's the colour I think they are, I'm colour blind so they could be purple maybe) camo hotpants and what looks to be a green school shirt. Are they worth anything?
No, give them to me
the hot pants are worth a lot

That's mad. Is it easy to sell this stuff on steam?
yeah man, just list it on the market and it will deposit the money into your steam wallet once it sells.
The game is designed for TPP. The height of object, the speed of movement, so many things just feel wrong in FPP.
Best part about the highlight feature is being able to prove a teamkill was the result of server lag weirdness.

Just got another win with a record high of 8 kills for me. Woo. Last kill was something hiding in one of those sheds
What's the easiest way to edit shadowplay recordings and throw them up on streamable or something?
I keep running into this thing where I am backed up away from a corner, there's no indicator showing my gun is aimed at the wall, but my bullets still all hit the edge of the corner when I peek anyway.
you can clip out a certain part of any video with VLC like this. Just click the record button where you wanna start the clip and again when you want to stop. The clip should be save to your My Videos folder.
Man I just do not enjoy the endgame phase. No matter how prepared I feel I am there's always someone who gets the jump on me, especially when it's in an open field. Feels like you desperately need a sixth sense.
I love those situations. Whatever you chose to do it is guaranteed to be an adrenaline rush. I mean, I guess that goes for many things in this game, but I think those tight, isolated fights (preferably in buildings) with limited navigation are something else.
I usually just throw a nade/flash and rush them because that seems to end with the best result for me. Most campers are either bad or very nervous, which is something you often can feel through their movement and reactions. Throw a nade anywhere and they'll run for their life into another room. Show your muzzle briefly and they'll hold LMB like there's no tomorrow, making it an easy kill while he's reloading.
The worst part of this game is dying to a guy you don't see, or have any chance of beating. There should be a mode where that's impossible. Bullet-proof backs or something.

I can't test it without wasting keys, but I'm not talking about the restriction on the commodity (the key itself cannot be traded or listed for a week). That shouldn't be possible.
I do think FPP tends to result in more people camping in houses though. Sound becomes the best way to get an edge on your opponent. And if you're not moving and you're just sat there camping in front of a door, you hear enemies coming and you have the advantage when an enemy comes blundering in. In TPP, you can open the door and sneak peak around before going in.
Today has been the glitchiest day I've seen in probably a month.Anyone else feel like the no recoil macros are becoming more rampant? Getting two tapped by m16s from 300+ meters is becoming more and more common. Meanwhile I watch amazing players like ninja who almost never two tap anyone.
Also, my internet hasnt changed but dsync seems to be getting worse. I died a full second after getting into cover today.
Dunno, shits been weird in the top 10000 since the servers got reset. Maybe I am crazy...
Fairly sure I saw a ghost in this game yesterday
Dude flips his Dacia on a hill, gets out. I shoot at him a couple of times and he bolts behind the small ridge next to him for cover.
I head to the top of the ridge, fully able to see both what is to the left and right of him, crest the ridge and, nothing. Dude has fully vanished and the worst is he mustn't have been armed either as I was standing openly on the top of the ridge for a good twenty seconds confused as hell.

If you're on Windows 10 you can just open the videos in the photos app and trim them. It's really simple.
