Is that a bug? Seems suitably random to me. Maybe a tad unfair/too extreme.
Your chances of survival + winning are pretty broadly determined in the opening minutes, though.

Yea, I'd say so. Certainly when you come across completely empty houses and then ones with guns stacked on top of each other. Guessing that weapon placement is a server-side thing, and it's borked.

Weapon drops should be random but probably not so random that 4 of the M16 for the round drop in the same apt building.

I put vsync on adaptive and still get tearing.
I think that only works if your GPU is rendering > monitor refresh rate (and even then I've also noticed instances where it doesn't seem to work)

I came in 3rd place on a squad game with randoms. That feeling of your team cheering you on only for you to choke and end up dead is the worst. ;_;

Last night had to be the craziest yet for me! Was playing duos that started kind of slow, had a hard time looting but still managed. I lost my partner with 18 people left alive and took shelter in a snipe tower with the circle closing in. Circle updates finally where i gotta move into the open field but had some tall grass for cover. Not yet being seen i let the other guys kill each other. Down to 5, two groups start firing on each other, i decide to stand AND THEY DONT SEE ME. I start firing and take out one guy while the other drops. Not sure how but it turned out to be between me ans him. Then.. it happened... I see as this grenade, in slowmo movie fashion comes flying through the air... and lands next to me. Game over... 2nd place for the 3rd time. As much as that sucked it was so intense and fun!

I'm sure i could get plenty of time from it, it's just even £20 is a lot to me. If it was a bit closer to £15 I'd definitely get it right away.

I got a #2 yesterday where the guy was running right at me though a field, I hit him in the chest with a sniper shot, reloaded, flubbed the second shot royally, and he got close enough to blast my ass with the shotgun and I lost.
That one hurt.

Yeah I just got it a few hours ago. I haven't seen the 30% off one though, that'd be nice to give away.
Bought today with the GMG deal and lost 3 hours to it without realising. Damn, like it's rough as hell but it scratches a certain itch. The amount of time you have to put in is so little I feel great about dropping in and out.

This is the only game I can think of where I repeatedly die and rush right back in to play more. It's punishing for sure, but not to the point where it gets frustrating... well not usually. Sometimes lag and/or a bad string of luck will irk me but I'm right back at it.

Last night my partner and I got pinned down next to a shack on the side of the road as the wall closed on us. He got downed in a firefight, crawled to me by the car. I got him up, we jumped in the car through a hail of bullets and proceeded to drive directly into a 2ft high ridge and flip the car and die to the wall.
Easily the most frustrating thing that's happened to me in this game to date. We spent the majority of the game, geared to the nines, just barely in front of the wall because we jumped so far away from the white circle, only to die in the first fight we encountered because of what was essentially a speed bump.

Were the codes posted here earlier provided in the same way? The e-mails seem to say they're "just for you" which could suggest they're account-based.
I just realized, what are these codes actually bringing the price down to - how much is the game in dollars? Here in the UK the game is £26.99 usually, with the 25% code bringing it down to about £21, around $28.
My 20% code brings it down to $24.

That's £18.50, even less than it would cost for me with the 30% off code...that seems pretty unfair. It seems even if i got the 25 or 30% code then in that case it would be far cheaper to get someone in the US to buy it for me with that code and send them the money, unless I've got something wrong. Would anyone with one of those 25 or 30% codes be up for doing that?

Yeah I'm not the greatest on conversions but if we pay $29.99 here and looking at the current conversion, it seems your normal price should be £23.10 approx, not £26.99. I guess that just has to do with different markets being different prices like the lucky Aussies. /s

In that case it seems it definitely is cheaper in the US. I was going to wait until the game came down to around £15 (which i doubt will happen even in the Steam Summer sale) but if i can find someone willing to buy it for me that way using the codes that would be even better.

Yes, they were from the same type of email. I initially thought it would just work for me, but I saw that previous code and then realised and posted mine after someone said the other code stopped working.

Does the 30% code off that you had and posted here still work on your account? It seems they must be account-based as the only people so far i've seen them work for are the ones they were given to in the first place.
