Yeah I'm aware of the fuckboy-shack strategy. That's the antithesis of fun for me, and I still make it to top 20 most games while not having to do that.

It's why i like the game, honestly. It's really punitive if you play it like any other shooters out there. A lot of time it's better to not shoot somebody you can take off, or getting involved in a gunfight in progress.
I play like you, but I usually only drive back to the outskirts of the circle and try to stealth my way from one circle to the next. I also usually end of in top 20 all the time. Have a few top 5s, and even got a chicken dinner.
Sometimes, while Im creeping into a circle, and I find a bush to hide in, and some poor straggler comes running in from the blue death only to be shotgunned from "they have no clue where", I chuckle.

Is there a GAF discord / group?? how do you all get together to play, Im very new to PC gaming (had a meh laptop and a few games, but now I have a real gaming PC), and I want to try duos/squads out , but not with randoms really. (I need to get a mic..or figure out how to make my PS golds work on PC first though)

its also really easy to find the blind spots for people who think they can see everything by standing to the left of the door. Thanks for the easy kills in the room you thought was empty.

EU players need to be banned from NA servers. Yall are fucking it up for NA players. I can't stand the teleportation crap anymore. I just had a guy dead to rights, opened fire and he teleported about 7 feet to be right next to me and then point blank shotgunned me to death. He then proceeded to talk shit in what I think was french.
EU players have an advantage on NA servers just like NA players have an advantage on EU servers. From what has been explained to me the teleporting you see isn't cheating but some one playing on a server they shouldn't.
This is why sacriel looks good lol. He is playing on NA servers where he has the advantage. No wonder he got his ass beat easy in the tourney.

Yeah, getting shot a second after getting behind cover really gives you that edge.

How do you know it was an EU player? It most certainly wasnt because after the last update, your character stops moving when you are lagging and have a high ping and get a connection problem screen
High ping doesn't make people teleport. Ping spikes and/or the servers shitting itself causes that.

I play on EU servers usually but i have friends that play on NA, so there's no way around it other than going on the other server. Being region locked and unable to play with friends because of something fairly insignificant as that would be absurd.

They just need to implement a max ping limit to stop all these shitters from messing the game up for everyone else. Fucking losers.
Finally got to buy the game, had messed around with it before on my roomate's PC but always watched more than played.
I think this is the first game where I had to drop down my mouse sensitivity, not only is it harder to pick off people from far away, but if I get scared from a random bullet my mouse does a complete 180 lol.

First chicken dinner after 39 hours of playing. (and half a chicken dinner since i realized we were only 47.)
Pro-tip: when the beach is in the final circle, it's very good place to chill.
I didn't shoot a bullet before there were like 9 people left, then i went under the water, made my way toward the final circle, hide there and kill the last two people hiding close by who were ultimatly forced to move close to me because of the circle. Vector + high capacity load rulz.
My strat to always get in top20 is definitely giving fruit: furthest point on the map, find a car and gas and always try to go to the most isolated house/cabane in the middle of the circle, hiding your car close by.
My biggest mistake was to always wait the circle to be closing on me to run. I realize that most people do that and it's the most dangerous situation to be in actually.
I have some friends I play with who insist on moving aggressively in the final circle - and im trying to find some consensus, that yes, the more you move in the final circle, the more likely you're going to get your ass shot. Slow down, find cover and peek your enemies.
I think they dont let you heal up while moving to prevent people from just staying in vehicles forever and healing up while on the move.

Happens every weeks on sunday night. There's also no difference between the crates aside from price.
I couldn't agree with you more, once you are in the final 5 people, your ass moves only if the blue death is coming for you. My one win kinda show cases this, though I did get half lucky with the circles, and used the terrain to my advantage like a boss (shockingly lol)

How do you see your ping in the game?
You can't.
Though you can try this http://pubg.disquse.ru , it's 3rd party site that does ping test to every pubg amazon server.

I mean, somethings are obviously subject to balance, it's too easy to reengage if you just pop into your car and heal up if you get hit. Same reason you cannot use boosters or meds in the water anymore.

The only reason to move in the final circle is when you have a smoke and both of you know where each other is.

Just played the Test Server and tried out the new drag-looting. Can confirm it feels awful.
Also checked out some of the top streamers and have heard nothing but complaints about it. Hopefully they listen to the community and revert the change. It makes the game worse to play.

The developer stated it was a bug, I don't understand what's so difficult to grasp about this. I'm sure if a lot of things in this game were different, them being changed to the way they were now would feel "awful".

It's funny because if the fast drag looting was never a thing, no one would've said a word about looting taking too long.
