I had mpegable on my laptop, but that seems to be discontinued. Microsoft has two links to mpeg codecs that allows windows media player to play mp4, but those two have been discontinued as well.

I've got a bunch of files that I converted in psp video 9, and now I don't know what the hell they are. :(

Any help? Thanks in advance :)

You have to be QUICK and be able to TIME it just right. First open it up in notepad, and then then type play, then save as a .mpeg4 file. Then play before it finishes saving.

So it does. I can't believe that in all the searching I read, none of it mentioned quicktime being able to do it? Have they totally stripped all of the options out of the free quicktime? I can harldy change anything in mine, just the connection speed and a few minor things. And lastly, other than having spysweeper tell it not to open every time windows boots, is there a way to just tell the program to chill out?

i haven't used it seriously in a while, but it doesn't seem to load quicktimeupdater and all that other crap when you start it. Worst case scenario, rename the programs it tries to load or move them to a folder in the QT folder.
