In this thread we shall discuss any news pertaining to the PlayStation 5, particularly reports about incidents that result from consumers' demand for Sony's latest video-game console, as well as businesses' reactions to such incidents (e.g. policy changes).

I'll start things off with a report about an incident that occurred in Florida on Thursday, December 10th.

A family - including a mother who was holding a baby - became irate at a Walmart that's located in Florida. Subsequently, the police were called; as the officers attended the situation, the mother - while holding the baby - punched one of the officers several times.

There was another incident at another Walmart, as can be seen in the video below. At about 1:45, two men in line get into a physical altercation because one of them claims that the other skipped them in line and therefore undeservingly received a ticket guaranteeing that they'd get one of the PlayStation 5's inside the store.

It was because the morons camped out for 8 hours after hearing there would be 30 PS5's in stock. But they lost their shit when an employee said it was only 5 lol.

Thats what you get for being a moron. Priorities are fucked up when you can dedicate 8 hours to camp outside a store for console or any electronic for that matter.

I don't agree that camping outside a store for a product is indicative of poor prioritization of responsibilities. If it's done during a day off or when there's otherwise time available, then it's fine.

I was able to pre-order a PlayStation 4 easily via Amazon and it was delivered to me without issue on its release date.

As for the PlayStation 5, I struggled through glitches on Best Buy's website for three hours (I took a few breaks throughout the time) but managed to pre-order one. It was delivered to me on its release date with no issue.
