That last picture comparison is insane. In the PSSR version, you can see pores, blemishes, and little individual neck hairs. I know you won't really notice that while playing the game, but the level of detail is just crazy.

The most impressive aspect of PSSR is in its ability to remove specular aliasing, giving it almost a prerendered CG look

Aiming wise It's far superior hence us needing all the aim assist we can get with analog sticks.
I will always use controllers regardless.
So it is hardware related. I think, It is not always horsepower all time you need to have a good set of pc. It is more of balancing the pc set up even if not boosting the power to much. Maybe that is why console have some advantage due to it is carefully studied and research on balancing and compatibility and not much application is running. But of course pc is still can be more powerful theoretically in numbers and depends in expertise in setting up. Just saying.

The PS4 version of Elden ring is superior when run on a PS5, not a PS4. Otherwise you're just getting an unstable 30fps.

Elden Ring is silksmooth on PC if you add two very simple mods.

Try 120 with buttersmooth performance.
I played ER at a friends place on his ps5 after playing it for about 60 hours on my PC. It felt like a slug in comparison.
Same with Armored Core 6.
