Hmm, not sure about that character model at all. Looks a bit 'off'. They've made her look like a mannequin. Can't they just rip the same model used from Gravity Rush and place it in PASBR or something, lol.

No complaints about that stage though. Heavenly Sword and WipEout works out surprisingly well.

Even if they don't have the game, I think anyone who plans to buy should download it just in case. It's not like you have to have the game to download DLC, unless it's on a 3DS.

No info on that, but all this stuff will be available for free if you get it off the store in the first two weeks of release.

Weird, some of the attacks I try on crumple won't connect even though it's just the initial animation.

And still, I'm mostly complaining on downed enemies still immune from damage. Spike's monkey net should hit a downed enemy.

Really love 3 and Accel 1. Best two games of the series.

Much better than the PSP Narutimate Hero which then spawned the Ninja Storm games.

Played my first few online matches in the final game and just got into 5x overtime (AP multiplier stopped at 4 though), only to lose by a kill against a sneaky Sly in the end. >.<

I could've taken him if a Sackboy player didn't drop out of the game midway through. That left only me, Dante and Sly cloaking 90% of the time and hiding in the corners, hard to rack up kills with only one visible opponent. I have yet to win my first match, but it was fun at least.

Generally these things are handled by including everything in a patch, so the DLC just unlocks it. If the DLC winds up being 100k, we'll know that's how they did it.

In PlayStation All-Stars, Kat's fighting techniques stay true to her combat in Gravity Rush, focusing mainly on kicks. Kat's a heavy rushdown character, director Omar Kendall tells Polygon. Kat's gravity powers can draw in and damage foes in the form of a massive energy ball. She can also summon items from a stage (barrels, furniture) to encircle her avatar, then launch them at opponents.

In contrast to Kat, Starhawk's Emmett uses a series of long range attacks in battle. While Emmett can deliver close range punches and a ground pound launcher with limited reach, he's also armed with guns, grenades and mines. Emmett can summon supply drops during fights, calling down auto-firing turrets &#8212; a real nuisance &#8212; and a generator that emits AP (All-Star Power), the energy that fuels super meters.

Emmett can also request drops for different weapons, a reference to Starhawk's "Build-in-Battle" system. In addition to his standard rifle, he can call in drops that outfit him with a shotgun or missile launcher, each with limited ammo that can be refilled from the supply drop container. Those containers can cause damage to other players as they fall, making Emmett an annoying force to be reckoned with.

I have a feeling Raiden won't be able to help people with his sword in a few months XD I hope Jak, Toro and Sir Dan get buffs. Jak especially. Arcade mode with him was not fun.

If history means anything i thought we werent going to get jack info until day before release haha

Emmet with dem auto turrets, pretty bad ass.

I hope that kat gets the one and only air super, but im worried that it might just not work haha.

Honestly, superbot probally has the best community response in gaming history. It's like they literally browse the gaf forums, take a step back, and tweak the game based on outcries

I'm really impressed with the overall response and support and I really wish more devs were like you guys and take the time and effort to make a better product

My 59.99 was well spent and you pretty much have a fan for life, thank you superbot

Kat and Emmett looks great in-game (Kat's portrait icon needs to be upgraded though)

I'm a fan of doing a season of 1 v 1. Their tournament system seems like it allows for making a particular gametype the "flavor of the month."

That's what I thought too. Would be nice to see timed mode replaced with Stock for a month, as well as to see 7-10 point Kill Limit thrown in.

Timed is great and all, but not as exciting or varied to me as a good Stock match. Nothing beats a good comeback from a stock match

It would be nice if they included some form of a community system in game. I don't really know whos playing besides friends and through matchmaking.


Or maybe a server list or something? I don't know, I find matchmaking really straight forward and don't like to rely on forums for the talking part.

Vita's commentary system works fine. Something like that should be in the PS4 for PS3 BC games (hopefully).

Man, Kat's already shown up in 2 games, and she's barely a year old! She's on her way!

I'm having a grand time with this game, even if it is low on SP content (unlocks specifically).

EDIT: Also, in that PS Blog post, Omar confirms that Kat and Emmett are rivals. Which is awesome.

Hmm. While that's nice, it nixes any opportunity we had for another pair of characters to get announced as respective rivals. Ah well.

In that same post, he also confirms that there will be more character DLC for 2013. Being that all characters have a rival, we will get at least 2 more characters next year.

Perhaps this is a problem I am having with the ranked FFA. Some characters and some people's play style benefit the stay alive tactic and pick apart the enemy, while others benefit from a short chaotic match with wild play style (Kratos and Raiden).

Was really hoping for another stage than just Fearless, but it looks like DLC will come in the form of 2 characters and 1 stage packs. I think the stages will be free through a patch and within that patch will also be the character data that you will have to purchase in the store to unlock. Really this is the best method outside of outright free.

The last huge franchise for the PS3 (I think, right?). Despite the fact that they're done with the series, it'd be nice to have that Chimera Hybrid.
