I have to go to a fucking tea party at the exact moment the awards start. Could a lamer obstacle exist?

Anyone know a way to find an archive of the show without running into the megatons that will be all over GAF?

Yeah it looks like they've been making indie RPGs for a few years so it's not FF2, but maybe we can be expecting to see it sometime soon.
 
Personally I'm hoping for a new Syphon Filter. A new Colony Wars or Bloody Roar as well.

I would be totally happy with Crash though.

Hype is still in check.
 
A FFVII remake would make a lot of sense considering it's the 20th anniversary for PSX, but since I have no interest in it, it'd be a major letdown for me. I wouldn't mind a Skies of Arcadia remake though. ;)

I'm sad I missed the hype train. :(

Someone could have made a spoiler thread but that's not gonna help. You are doomed basically.
 
All this Persona 5 hype is spreading to me, even though I haven't played any of the previous games. Are they stand alone, or do I need to play all the previous ones to keep up with the story?

Spending millions on SFV and then millions on a FFVII remake is just terrible decision-making.

They're pretty much standalone, different characters and story in each. You'll be fine jumping into this one.

Almost forgot this years back....

To celebrate ten years of Final Fantasy VII and stir longings for a FFVII remake, Square Enix held a Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary Gallery in Tokyo. The exhibition is on display until September 2nd in the Spiral Garden and features original art and illustrations for Final Fantasy VII and its spin-offs. Sony Computer Entertainment honcho Kaz Hirai was also in appearance and wrote an English note on the message board, which reads:

"Congratulations on 10 fantastic years! The best is yet to come"
