Sony already released 2 VR helmets, they don't need to partner them, they'll release their own models. Once their price keep lowering, make sure they'll release one focused to gaming and branded as Playstation. Better and cheaper than Oculus Rift.

but doesn't the Oculus Rift work much better than most other VR helmets including Sony's own? from what i understand it uses all kinds of "special tricks" that are most likely patented, so Sony might not be able to replicate an equal experience on their own... though what the hell do i know lol.

Good question. Doesnt GS and the usual suspects have spolier free sections on their sites for E3? Might have some thing in the same veins now? We will probably know more on Monday or Tuesday.

Unlike Oculus, the Sony ones are already in the market. Which means they're way older tech. Since they continue releasing 3DTVs, 3D cameras, 3D bluerays, 3D movies, 3D consoles etc they will continue releasing more stuff of this. Make sure that when Oculus is released, and if not shortly after it Sony will have another with the same feature (head tracking, which as proved Sony already had tech about it).

The bass was beast. It's like don't f me with bitch lol. Bought a passive subwoofer back in the day and used my Mom's pioneer amp she didn't need anymore. Bass was just hitting the room hard on every boot up.

If you're thinking about SE, we're still waiting for Versus XIII, Type 0 and FFXHD. If they announce a FFVII remake as exclusive it will be released for Playstation 9.

I wouldn't be surprised if MS uses moneyhats as a big part of their success strategy for next gen again. I expect some timed exclusive megatons or two. If it's just map packs then it's not a big deal. I hope the GTAV timed exclusive stuff is just bogus rumor and speculation. Sony doesn't have the money to compete with MS when it comes to moneyhats.

Another blow to Sony this gen was missing out on games like The Witcher 2, Minecraft, and earlier, for a time, Bioshock and Mass Effect, and some other games I'm probably forgetting.

I agree, what good is a better console version if it comes out 6 months later with less DLC.
Still ditching nextbox for PS4 myself though.

Am I the only one that wants an HD Final Fantasy 12 international edition? I'm really interested in that zodiac job system. It would look so good as a PS4 game in wide screen and at 60fps.

Why doesn't Square soft like money?

I believe missing games like Witcher 2 were 100% because of the shit architecture of PS3. CDRed is PC developer at heart and they have no patience for bullshit when developing. I am so glad Sony fixed this with PS4.

You can see the same thing with Valve. The only reason they warmed up for Sony was because of the bullshit side of Live.

Of course they are, I still think the conference will have mentions of their other platforms and upcoming games though, it would be daft not to when you're spending so much to get the attention of the whole world's media.

I think the other PS Meeting platform unveilings have focused almost entirely on that platform. They give a brief overview of their current platforms, but then spend the rest of the time talking about the new platform. They're have Destination Playstation set a few days after this, so they can talk about details on PS3 and Vita games and potential price drops there.
