I do not understand why the sudden doubt, Nintendo =/= Sony.

They showed the console at E3 2011 where Wii U also debuted.

A contact at Sony give WSJ or another mainstream outlet some info on future online plans, etc. The controller and dev kit look legit enough to think it's a leak, one very harmless in comparison to whats could have been shown.

Yup. Nintendo was focusing on their controller, like the Wii. The focus was never on their system and they never wanted it to be by hiding the console at events, not talking about specs, etc.

PS4 and Durango are all about the consoles and whats in them.

this won't happen.. there is no reason for VSXIII as "FFXV" not being tied to the Fabula Nova Crystallis Myth.

I think the Fabula Nova Crystallis Myth would have actually been a thing if Square Enix executed on it in a timely fashion. I really hope FFXIII is left behind on current gen consoles as I don't think their attempt to create a cohesive FFXIII universe under the FNCM umbrella really panned out. Versus should be branded as a stand alone FF game. Doesn't necessarily have to be XV I'd like to see them cut its ties with XIII. A switch to PS4 is perfect for that.
