Did you ever play Sly 2? If so, then this game is essentially more of that alongside levels very similar to the original (platforming focused on the traditional Sly gameplay). The game is also much smarted in how playable characters are handled; Bentley and Murry's playtime here are much, MUCH smaller compared to Sly 2 alongside Carmelita's gameplay being only used three too four times and the new characters (outside of one) all have the same gameplay as Sly, but with a twist (his Japanese ansester has the ability to leap between points super fast and his Wild West ansester is able to shoot using his gun-cane while rails sliding + being able to have a RDR-esc Quick Draw-type move).
Its a great game that is much, MUCH better than Sly 3 and takes everything that the first two games did and refines them to perfection

. Outside the last world and final level (which are the weak points to this game), this game is a wonderful platformer and makes you want to see what else Sanzaru can do (as they are the developers of this game

).
