PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | May 2014

It's the perfect expression of the state of the vita really. Pensiveness with a hint of uncertainty for the future, yet dancing to keep a small hope alive.

Damn, that was deep. And pretty.

edit:

New Ps+ Owner protip: free games a great, but dont forget about cloud saves. You have to manuallly activate them per game!

Also, on the content manager > online storage you can select them to auto-upload by batch.

Well damn.
Joined the PS+ crowd.

I figure if I can at least get 1-2 games between the Vita/PS3 a month it'll be a worthwhile investment.
Having Gravity Rush, Uncharted GA, Soul Sacrifice, and Wipeout 2048 right off the bat is a nice start.

Good timing too. Those games will probably be gone next month after E3.

There was a reason why I made that God of War thread; to inform disk owners of the God of War Collection of an alternate way to enable cross buy. If you own the disk versions of the collections, then their future cross-buy features are disabled (as Sony cannot patch it into the disks for some reason).

The Sly Collection is coming the 27th (which I expect to be cross buy digitally as the GOW Collection was) and Ratchet most likely some time after E3 (maybe July/August). I believe they will be cross-buy digitally (as this was), but the PS+ Trails glitch will not work with Sly; they know the exploit, so they will remove the trails of the PSN.

If you own the trails already and didn't download them (or own one/two of the trails and purchase the other one digitally), then you should be fine with cross-buy :).

I own the HD disc collection of Sly and Ratchet.

So should I go into the store and just "buy" the timed trials? as long as I don't download and start them, it's fine right?

Are you a poet?

Needs to be a WebM with really fitting or unfitting music.

I've just spent 5 minutes watching this while listening to Guile's Theme

LOL, what happened with him? Did he sacrifice you too? Or was he another victim to Flandy?
I think the story goes that dear Flandy "baited him" into a rape joke and then Killatopek got banned. Then Flandy took VitaGAF's top spot on the wall of Fshame every month except for last month there after.
I like that IA girl design better than Miku and most other vocaloid characters. Don't know why.
Self-shadowing.
Miku and IA are both Vocaloids, but they aren't the same thing. I'd have no problem with a IA song either though. :P
I keep listening to more Vocaloid and staring down the games in the PS Store.

Get it.

They're just fun J-pop rhythm games if you take the anime bullshit away.

She looks slightly less rediculus and sings bit more naturaly than other vocaloids ?

Depends entirely on how the artist tunes the voice. Some people can make it sound pretty realistic, which takes quite a bit of effort from what I've gathered.

I do prefer it when artist experiment with making it less realistic though. It's not just a human, manipulate to do something different!

Hm. Just bought Steamworld, and I don't have a PS4 version in my download list on my Vita, but there's a PS3 & PS4 version listed in my download list on the SEN website.

PS4 games never show up for me on my PS3 or Vita download list. Do other PS4 games show for you? If its on the website store page you should be good.

Thanks. I wonder why they don't advertise the cross-buy thing on the webstore description then. Does it say something on the English/UK site? Because there's nothing in German.

Can't wait to play some BL2 on my flight later this afternoon. Maybe a little bit of Project Diva f and Demon Gaze too, depending on who's sitting next to me.

Hey PlaystationGAF! 2nd post. I'm currently playing Gravity Rush and Metal Gear Solid 1 on Vita (and loving them) and FFX HD and Spec Ops The Line on PS3. Feels good to finally be approved!

I have to admit I close the Vita thread pretty quick when you have people getting hyped for these sort of games. It's probably cultural ignorance, but I don't like it one bit.

I have seen enough anime girl booby rubbing games to last me a lifetime

What is wrong with the guys over there?

I've been really wanting to try BL2 after reading some of the impressions in the thread. I played BL2 on PS3 half solo half split screen co-op, so the 2 person limit is fine with me, and the enemy limit doesn't bother me at all. But the game download is so damn huge, I would have to shuffle so many things off my 64 GB card. I guess its gonna be a physical purchase after all, the all digital vita dream is slowly dying, come on Sony make with the 128 GB cards!
