Works fine for me.

Thanks. PS3 store finally worked after several tries. Still can't connect to PSN with my Vita though. PS4 works like a bliss and I have grown a custom to the snappy store. Loading the PS3 one is a real chore.

Just noticed I am around 26 PS4 games already thanks to crossbuy and PS+, that's just crazy.

Art Collector is the worst trophy in Project Diva f. It took me hours... I know there's a lot of pictures, but the last few just refused to pop up....

Well, with a touchpad and 4 extra buttons, they could probably come up with some kind of port of Tearaway using a DS4.

If it ends up requiring a PS4 camera just to appease what is pretty much the least interesting element of the game (Sunface), it'll sell worse than it did on Vita

Figures I buy a Vita primarily to play Tearaway and now that rumor. I had already planned to get a PS4 at some point. Oh well, lol at me, I guess.

One more quick question: all the trailers for games on the PlayStation Store are incredibly low-res. Is there a setting somewhere that's defaulting it to do this? My wi-fi is stable and at about 80% strength (I can't move the router, I can't connect it via ethernet; long story) and I haven't had issued streaming trailers from an AppleTV or Blu Ray Player in the exact same location as my PS4. Surely this is an easy fix...?

I wouldn't change your plans based on a rumor. Seems highly unlikely even if it wouldn't surprise me. And really, if there was a game to buy a Vita for, for me it'd be TxK even if it doesn't utilize the Vita hardly at all in comparison.

Bought Titan Attacks! and played it a little bit. My advise, stay away from this game.

The game starts so boring and slow and it takes a while to get to the more interesting waves and weapon upgrades.

The idea of the upgrades is nice but not implemented well. The game overall looks ok, nothing special to differentiate it from the usual retro look.
Apparently, you can save your highscore attempt to continue later, which is a good addition.

For the asking price of 10 bucks this game is just horrible. Even 5 would have been quite a lot. If you want to play a retro shooter, get Space Invaders Extreme for PSP, which is awesome. Hoped this would be like it and now I am sad I didn't bought Space Invaders Extreme digitally instead, which is the same price.

Well that couldn't have worked out better. Ended up buying Dragon's Crown for vita and let my brother play for a bit. He liked the game enough that he paid for the PS3 version so we could local co-op. Best of both worlds. Glad I did it this way, because it is another perfect pick up and play vita game.

Though I will say, I am getting tired of games that auto-save. Why do so many games not allow for manual saving these days? I never know when the last auto save was. Even an option to quit to main menu that tells you how much time it has been since the last autosave would be helpful. (I know dragon's crown lets you save, but you don't get the option right away, and it reminded me of other games and their autosave BS). To be clear, I am fine with autosaving, but manual saves should be an option as well always.

Traded in my good 'ol Vita 1000 to GameStop today, along with a bunch of random games I don't play. Managed to get $300 and used it to get the Borderlands 2 bundle. Haven't opened it yet because I work closing today.... Bleh.

It's not gonna happen, don't worry.

I suppose even if it does happen I'll still be playing the game a lot earlier and the way it was intended to play.

The more I read the vita 2000 thread the more I want to do the same. But after checking the CAG gamestop trade in prices thread, I could only get to about $140 trade in credit. Paying $60 for basically BL2 because my current vita works fine just doesn't work. Hope they release a 50% extra trade in on systems deal next, then I would be in for sure!

I feel ye, bro. At least some games with absolutely no way to save manually have some big and noticeable auto-save icons, but then there's Fez, with a very small icon that I had to try hard to notice. Took me some time to lose the fear that I'd lose some progress when quitting.

But the worse are games like Mercenary Kings, which have no way to save manually and gives you a "you'll lose all unsaved progress" when you return to the main menu (and then saves during the transition to the menu).

I know I've been stalling but I will forfeit my life(& hometown) if I don't have a Vita by the time Versus hits the US.

Maybe Burst will finally go on sale.

Hmm just learned I can get $70 for trading in my old 360 wifi adapter and controllers along with my old vita memory cards. That plus a few games I have doubles of and my original vita would cover the cost of the 2000, so I guess my fate is in the hands of gamestop. If they have the vita 2000 bundle in stock tomorrow, I will get it. If not, I will take it as a sign and stick with my OG vita.

I love that iOS got a real Monster Hunter game before the Vita did.

I'd be pretty perplexed if Capcom announced a considerably out of date port of a game already playable on the machine for Vita.

Frontier's announcement for Vita is a kiss of death to the platform ever getting a real one anyways.

Is that mean Ichinose will be locked in Capcom game designer dungeon for the rest of his life? D:

who do you think ported mhp2nd g to ios

that's why he was let out of the dungeon to do that brief MH 10th Anniversary interview

the project was finally done

Everything I wrote above is a lie ... or at least I hope it is.

I really like the Vita 2000. I actually like the screen better I think- it's still colorful, but it has a more natural look to it, and there's no more mura effect. It's a lot more comfy overall, and the buttons feel better- especially the shoulder buttons. The analog sticks feel slightly different. They aren't quite as loose as I remember them being on my old Vita. I also like the design better.
My only gripe so far is that it seems to have connectivity issues with wifi. My old Vita almost always had full bars anywhere in my house, and this one is always at like 1 bar...
Borderlands 2 is also taking forever to download.

SERIOUSLY.

Why does my hunting games not let me use NPC characters?
WHY OH WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

I don't care even if I'm locked to their specific weapons and that they are 500yen DLCs (per character). Let me use them.

Being able to use their outfits is nice, but it's not the same. :(

After not playing my Vita regularly for a while (Mainly focused on PS4, PS3 PS+ backlogue etc) I went on a splurge recently and got myself a few games.
Thanks to the sales I got Killzone: Mercenary, Rayman: Legends and Persona 4 Golden.

Killzone: Great game, finished the singler player on veteran and had a lot of fun with it.

Rayman: A fantastic platformer with a lot of humour and charm. Just finished all the mian story missions and started doing the time trial levels plus collecitng anything I missed on the main levels.

Persona: My first Persona game but only just started this morning so I have only got to the school and the police have turned up so im gonna be trying to get a little further at lunch and my journey home from work.

Battlefront II (PSP) on Vita is actually sick. The remapping the aiming face buttons to the right analog stick totally works. And the game isn't that cut down in terms of content, and doesn't look terrible. It's crazy that back then you could just expect a straight port of a big ass console game to a portable.

Going by Borderlands 2, maybe we'll get Dice's Battlefront on the Vita in 2017...
Yep. And people call me crazy when I say that PSP is the best handheld ever.

Saying what we had all already pretty much guessed, but it's surprising to see them being so forthright instead of Shahid-esque "Games r coming" (much as Shahid is awesome) stance.
Not really surprising, that remarks how there's a branch of western SCE that still cares about Vita, does collaborations with minor studios to get exclusives (Murasaki, Invizimals), tends to market the thing, tries to get indies onboard(and delivered masterfully) and even tries to help localyzing japanese games, and how there's another one that doesn't give a fuck about it, doesn't market it, hasn't released a single exclusive(internal or external, AAA or DD) game since May 2012 and doesn't even bother to get indies on the machine (just look at the recent SCEA indie event, a truckload of games for PS4 and 3 games for Vita).
