I always liked the PSP. Well to be more accurate, I always liked the PSP's games. It was the system itself I didn't like. I hated the analog nub, I hated the game prices and I hated the UMD format. For these reasons I did actually buy more DS games than PSP games despite the fact that the actual PSP library wiped the floor with DS imo.

In UK PSP games were cheaper and dropped in prices faster than NDS stuff.

For stuff like TO or Dissidia I payed like 18 pounds on release day.

I'm from EU and prices are very good since 2008, definitely better than DS games',
considering how rarely they drop in price.

Though at the beginning of its lifecylce, PSP games' were a bit overpriced. IIRC it wasn't rare to see 50$/€ games

Koei Tecmo rarely announces localizations for their JP-heavy IPs prior to launch in that country. I'm not sure when Toukiden Xtreme launches over there.

I agree with the control thing. I know Nintendo wanted to add touch based puzzles to the Zelda temples via touch screen items, but I rather it had remained the same. Bottom screen as a map would've been good enough. Same the touch controls for the boat/train and allow Link to be like regular Zelda.

Do you listen to anything else as the Gym? I played P4 about a year or two ago and I'm still listening to the soundtrack a lot when heading to college.

My video game music gym mix is super random. I have TWEWY, P4G also, and Sonic 3 music, Streets of Rage, and Mega Man 3, and the Super Hexagon soundtrack. Also have a portal 2 track in the mix. If anyone else has some good suggestions for video game music with good energy I'm always up for suggestions!

I'm from the UK and PSP games were not cheap. Where did you get your games from? Back then I was an idiot and only bought games from GAME. Maybe it was just a case of GAME being shitty?

With that said I wasn't happy with DS prices either. Nintendo's first party output especially is notorious for not dropping in price. I didn't buy a hell of a lot of DS games either if I'm honest. I think I barely made it in to double digits with my DS games. More than PSP(at the time before digital Vita came in to the equation), but not really a whole lot. At least DS didn't use UMD's or have an uncomfortable analog nub so I was a bit more willing to buy games for it than PSP at the time.

I just can't believe how they are launching it next week and yet we have no details on the price. We don't have any marketing or buzz either. You also have to look at JP websites or wikis to look at the changelog and the save transfer function. It's pathetic to be honest.

I'm buying it for sure and I'm disappointed they are doing such a poor job selling the game to a new audience.

Digital only and a stealth release will probably be a kiss of death for this, unfortunately.

Holy shit. I see what you mean, that's some good pricing. I would have certainly bought more PSP games back then for those kind of prices. Well on the plus side, at least GAME is out of my life now so this will never happen to a future game system ever again. God, I love Muramasa. Controls are simple, yet it's challenging. After finishing Momohime's path I started with Kisuke and it's been a breeze so far (I could say this is my second playthrough). I think I'm underleveled and that's making boss fights harder xD.

Totally buying the DLC when I get all the endings.

I don't know if I want to play Fury mode though My Vita could end smashed against a wall.

Hey guys, maybe you can help me out.

I bought the Season Pass for TLOU and started downloading all the DLC I hadn't bought already. As I was downloading some of the MP hat bundles, I'd have the download stop on one of the hats. Waited a bit before I backed out of the download operation. Tried to download it again but then get hit with a 80710003 error. Backing out and going back into the store gives me the same error and everyone on my friends list has a "-" near their trophy level.

Rebooting fixes it but after two more of the hat bundles, it happens again. Had it happen three times in total last night. Just curious if this is something normal or should I look into it? I tried reading around the net and it seems like the PS3 can't handle too many downloads in a short time?

Ranking depends on your progress bar and not the score. You probably messed up during one of the technical zones or chance time but still hit more notes overall.

Can't recommend Child Of Light enough. Its easy to learn, but has plenty of subtle depth to its combat. The story was fantastic, especially considering its a downloadable 15-20 hour game. If you're a parent, the young girl's plight will probably really hit you as it did me. Really great Art Style with 1080p Resolution on PS4. Not much to complain about, its very solid.

What? I think Vita's browser is quite competent. It's slightly slower than the one in my tablet (Nexus 2012) but for the little use I'd give it I think they've done quite a good job.

I agree. This isn't going to be a popular opinion, but Vita is honestly my go to option for web browsing. It's not the best browser out there, but it does a good enough job and the size of the screen makes me prefer it to my phone.

With that said I can't for the life of me figure out how to post on GAF with the Vita. It won't let me sign in on Vita. Does anyone else have this problem?

I used to have the same opinion until I got an android that could run Chrome. It's not even a fast phone, but there's no console browser that can touch it.

Still, Vita's might be the best of the bunch. Fast enough, high standards compatibility and won't ask you to close the game you're playing (unless you're trying to browse a resource-heavy page). Just opening the PS3 one will waste a minute of your life.
