PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

love scee!!

now I must bring my PS3 on my vacation so I do not miss any offers

BUT!

do we have any official source confirming this list?

The American list seems a bit better to me, and I don't like the fact that we're getting all those Blu-Ray releases on there.

The question is now, do we keep the games for as long as our subscription (as per current standard), or are they only available to us to play during the cycle period they are up on PSN....

For the three "52 weeks" titles they explicitily state they're ours for as long as we subscribe, but they dont mention it for the other 7...

Thank God we aren't getting Mass Effect 2 as a freebee... Jesus!, can you imagine that shit LOL
If you had a 120GB, it would eat up close to 1/6th of your HDD

The final NA list (including the ones that we didn't know) was posted on the blog.

Virtua Fighter 5 – June 5th
inFAMOUS 2 – June 5th
Little Big Planet 2 – June 5th
Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One – June 5th
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – June 5th
Just Cause 2 – June 5th
Saints Row 2 – June 5th
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light – June 5th
Hard Corp: Uprising – June 5th
Choplifter HD – June 5th
Zombie Apocalypse Never Die Alone – June 5th
Sideway NY – June 5th

Don't make it more confusing than it is.

Same as now.
They're only free for a short while, but once in your download history, they're yours as long as you are subscribed.

For the next 52 weeks, whenever you join PlayStation®Plus you will be able to get your hands on these titles – they’ll be available at any time over the next year, yours to download and play for as long as you subscribe.

That bit is only referring to the three annual titles.

From the EU blog

Good question! That aspect is the same as before – the dates for availability are regarding your initial download of the game – the same as now.
If you make sure that you go and opt to download a game before it exists Plus, then you can download it and keep playing it for as long as you’re a subscriber.
Likewise, if you are running short of space, you can delete it from your hard drive and retrieve it from your download list at ANY time – but you have to keep your subscription active.

Amazing, thanks, this is the best reason yet to be a PlayStation Plus member. One question though.
Can we play the games throughout our entire Plus subscription? Or do they stop being playable once they are taken off the list of 10 games?

More than 45 games over the next year? Yeah, you do.

as PSMako already asked this, are those 10 games playable throughout my entire playstation plus subscription and every 3 months 2 new games are added? or are the games only playable for 3 months?

Playable for as long as you remain a subscriber and accessible in your download list, as long as you downloaded them initially.

PSOne, Minis and PS2 titles are no more through Plus unless it's one they decide to promote.

What about my PS one, PS2 and minis?

Based on all the feedback we’ve had from you guys over the last couple of years, we’ve decided that our subscribers would be better served by offering you more digital Blu-ray titles and top of the line PSN games, rather than scrabbling around to find a compelling PS one or minis titles. That said, if a truly awe inspiring minis title or one of the greatest PS one or PS2 titles that ever existed suddenly shows up on PS Store, you can bet your britches that we’ll secure it for you.

Boo, hiss, etc, etc.

Many thanks for clearing up my query; time to invest in that new HDD!!

No need, just make sure you have the game in your list, you don't need to have them all on your HDD at the same time. Delete one and then download it again if you want it again.

Bit the bullet for 3 months because of E3 and yeah... pretty sure I'll keep subscribing.

Its one hell of a way to game on a budget (mine is pretty tight).

This is a good thing potentially. I'd rather get a few blu ray titles a month instead of getting something like Spyro 1 which I'll never ever play again most likely. And if they do decide to give ps1 games it'll be something actually great.

I was looking at it from owning a vita perspective. I liked that they had a few titles each month that I could one day play on my vita. Now they've taken away PSOne games just as they announce they'll be launching PSOne compatibility on Vita later this Summer. Goddamn annoying is what that is.

Minis - eh - most of those released weren't compatible on Vita anyway.

Sony announces PSOne games coming to Vita this Summer then they stop giving us PSOne games with PS+. :(

Pretty much this.

Great. I can finally play darksiders.

I REALLY wanted them to increase the cloud storage cap though. 150mb is insanely small.

Should be 1 gig at least.

Sounds like they went with Option 2:

Go back and check them because they just recently added support for a bunch more in NA within the last couple of weeks. They must be transferred from the PS3 of course because Sony can't do anything perfectly.

Throwing in a full PSP game here and there would be nice. Those things can't be selling too much.

Really PSP games are cheap, dropping prices considerably

PSOne most are $4.99-$9.99

The PS3 Blu-Ray games are $19.99-$39.99 in price range DD wise

I'll gladly give up minis/psone/psp stuff for more PS3/PSN stuff

Shame about no more focus on Minis for free. I wouldn't have even noticed Where is My Heart?, one of the best games I played last year, were it not for PS+.

Is SCEA giving MotorStorm Apocalypse? That's a huge one for me. VF5 will be good enough for me if not.

Won't miss the PSone games, since I own all the ones that I wanted anyway.

I'm in for inFamous 2, Just Cause 2, Virtua Fighter 5, and LittleBigPlanet 2, but I'll put them all on my DL list.

Impressive list of free games to play while you are subscribed, and a hell of an incentive to keep a membership as they continually offer more games. I think I'll go ahead and bite. As it will really pay for itself. I mean, it seems kind of stupid not to at this point.

Oh yeah, Vita owners got shafted. Then again you could say that was the theme of sony's show last night anyway.

Which is too bad because assassin's creed looked great.

This is freaking amazing, I will definitely need to pull my PS3 out of the bedroom

I will definitely upgrade to a year if they keep this up

Does anyone here use PS+ on a sub-account?

I asked if this worked in another thread, and someone answered that you can't. But after doing some googling, it sounds like it might be possible to fully use PS+ on a sub-account as long as the name and address match the master account. Has anyone tried this?
