Joined to PLUS this week but do not see those 64 games , just few of them. why?

Not complaing since joined for the PS VITA games , just wonder how I can not find those 64 games...

thx
Others answered you, but just add everything every month in case you want it later. I think I missed out on 3 games, mostly crap like foosball that I did not want.

I honestly just don't see why Sony would continue to make it this great for PS4. Previously, you didn't need Plus, so you had to provide major incentives for people to buy it. Now, simply being able to play online has become the incentive. They don't need major additives to get people to buy it anymore.
I look at it another way, for one, they still have Live to beat, and 2, now that they will get more money from subs, they'll be able to give more money to devs to offer their games for free. It sounds naive but when Sony says they'll use the money to make their services better I'm kind of inclined to believe it ONLY because they've walked the walk, they have been trying to provide a different service based on value.

If they were the top dog by a million miles I'm not sure they'd go as hardcore on it for sure, but they got a long ways to go for that. Basically what I'm saying is Sony isn't in a position to take their foot off the pedal.

@TheBatman- TBH I have it bookmarked of sorts for future watching, I wanna watch it AFTER seeing one of the endings/my first playthrough ^^;

Man the wait for learning of July's offerings is irritating, I am ready for the worst but I just want to know it already @_@

Kinda hoping that DiveKick is part of Plus. But I figure that it won't be. :/

They've been catching up with some Euro Plus updates, so we could see RDR.

I have a question so there is still a bunch of games on plus I want however I have crappy internet caps. If I put the item in my card and checkout but don't download right away can I still access them later or will they disappear unless I download it now?

Yes, they stay in your download queue.

Oh, no worries. How are you enjoying the game so far? It's really brilliant. Especially after you beat it that first time and realize you've only scratched the surface ;D

I'm sure this has been detailed before but if I use a free 30 day PS+ subscription, cancel on the 29th day and switch to a 90/365 subscription, I'm not going to lose anything due to the cancellation am I?

Don't worry, you won't lose anything.

And you can even cancel the auto-renew right after redeeming the free suscription code. You aren't cancelling the service, only the auto-renew.

I'm spewing i missed out on

Okami HD
Double Dragon Neon
Guardians of Middle Earth
Vanquish
Sleeping Dogs
DOA5
Rachet and Clank
LBP2
Starhawk

For the PS3 for PAL. The rest i either have on PC or have on my 360. I only subbed like 4 days ago.

I'm going to go against the grain here but after subscribing to EU PS Plus for the last 6 months I've cancelled my subscription now.

PS Plus games tend to fall into one of the following categories for me:

1. Games I already own.
2. Games I couldn't give a shit about playing.
3. Games too big for my 40GB HDD.
4. Vita games.

Over the last 6 months the only games I got out of it were Quantum Conundrum and Thomas Was Alone.

PS Plus is fantastic for people who for some reason don't buy highly acclaimed AAA games within 12 months of launch, which I tend to do. Most of the time if I'm interested in playing a game I will have already bought it before it appears on PS Plus.

A lot of PS Plus games are genres I don't care about, such as beat-'em-ups. If I've passed on a game it's usually because I've deemed it not worthy of my time so it going 'free' isn't going to change that.

I wanted to get Vanquish, Mass Effect 3 and Hitman Absolution but they are far, far too large for my 40GB HDD and I feel it's too late in the gen to upgrade now.

Also I've got to say PS Plus was better when they gave you four PS3 games a month, but since extending it to Vita it tends to be just two PS3 games and also two Vita games, which is great for Vita owners of which I am not one.

Finally, I don't like the fact that it's essentially a rental service. When you one day unsubscribe to PS Plus all you are left with is your rapidly fading memories and a lighter wallet. I like to own products. I've never rented or sold a game in my life, I still have a bookshelf full of all my PS1 and PS2 games. People hated the idea that one day the Xbox One DRM servers could be turned off and they would lose access to their games but PS Plus is the same.

Except you still have the option of buying and owning games. It's not like the Xbox One DRM at all. The PS+ 'rental' model acts as a completely optional alternative method of playing a selection of games. Most use it for games they were never likely to purchase in the first place, so there isn't really a conflict there.

Of course plus isn't worth it if you buy all the games you want at or around launch.

The 40gb issue could easily be fixed by upgrading the hdd as opposed to the whole ps3

I wonder if Sony will adjust how PS+ works now that Xbone will be giving away free games with XBL... REAL free games, that don't expire.

Does it really make a big difference rather the game expires or not now that PS+ is required for online play, pretty much guaranteeing most PS4 owners will pony up? Just let us keep the games!

PS+ isn't the same, because you don't own the games. When you cancel Netflix, you don't have access to your Netflix instant library, nor should you.

Well, if we want to really compare both services, maybe we should tackle the games value.

All this talk about 999, multiple endings and "required" playthroughs made me think of Konami's Shadow of Destiny (Shadow of Memories), a PS2/PC game which I absolutely love. I wish we had more games like that on consoles.

Interest piqued on 999 and VLR.

OMG Shadow of Destiny was the coolest game! I love they got Charles Martinet (Mario) to be Homunculous's voice for the PS2 version (best voice cast) Scott Keck was a fantastic Eike too.

The idea of the time travel, and great storytelling got me hooked into the genre, so it was only natural to enjoy 999 and VLR so much after those.

Missed these posts from 2 pages back. Shadow of Memories is one my favourites. Such a great game.

Really wish there were more like it. :(

Yeah, this is basically it. We get the games as part of the subscription, if anything the bigger problem is how I can't buy them if I redeemed the free version until the subscription lapses, so if there's any amazing sales and I don't want to depend on Plus I'm screwed.

With XB1... well, it's probably part of why Onlive failed to really take off, because how many people REALLY want to buy a single player game that requires constant online access to play? Though Onlive had the additional negatives of how it's ONLY a streaming copy and you can't get a local copy at all, so if the lag turns out to be unacceptable you're screwed. There's potential there, but it's why it had to be hybridized with another service, much like Sony seems to plan with Gaikai and PS3 BC and maybe PS gaming on other devices period.

You also won't lose all of the benefits to PS+ if they cancel the service. Only the free games will be gone, any discounted items (including the weird "100% discount" items) will be yours to keep.

Loving it so far, I got one of the Bad Endings, and got the
Dio
ending. English voices are indeed good, wish I started with them since the JP voices are more appealing to me atm =P

Really doubt Sony has anything they feel needs to change. The 'free' Xbox games are nowhere near the level of PS+. The free games are only until the launch of the xbone (might have been the end of the year, not totally sure on that one), they haven't said a word about free xbone games where Sony has, and the games for live gold are incredibly old. This is all coming from someone that has been a 360 owner first and foremost for the whole generation.

When should the EU update be?

Also wanted to ask, when I download BF3 from PS+ will I need to buy the online pass to play online or will that be included?

This is something I've always thought about. I mean my Plus is subbed through 2016 at this point.. So it's really an odd concern.. But yeah if I see a great game deal for under $10 and I already have it through Plus.. I can't grab it just in case I ever decide to ditch Plus.

When should the EU update be?
July 3:

Battlefield 3 (replaces The Cave)
Payday: The Heist (replaces The Lord of the Rings: War in the North
Saints Row the Third (replaces Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
+
Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (replaces Rayman Origins)
Unit 13 (replaces Coconut Dodge Revitalised)

Games for August will be announced in the last week of July.

Also wanted to ask, when I download BF3 from PS+ will I need to buy the online pass to play online or will that be included?
There's two answers to this question:

1. You always get the online pass.
2. EA doesn't use online passes anymore. Since a few weeks, every single EA online pass is a free download.
