So I went to play some Yotei on mine yesterday and suddenly the haptics are SO FUCKING LOUD. I tried to play for awhile but it was so bad that it was distracting while we were watching a movie and I just shut it off.

The haptics had felt sort of weird for awhile but it's like LOUD now on top of feeling like shit. It's almost like something came loose on the inside.

Has anybody had this? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth opening it up to try to fix it or if I should just trade it to GameStop for $88 and buy a new one while they are still on sale.

Never heard of that before.

I think I read something similar on Reddit, the Portal had to be repaired. Did it happen again?

I tried it again last night and it didn't happen. I put the haptics and triggers down to medium versus the standard strong setting.

My 1 year was up in September unfortunately so I'm gonna use it as much as I can to see if it does it again and if it does I'm probably just gonna trade it to GameStop and get the black one.
