The problem with the events is always the time here in Japan. It will be 5am in the morning, so I have to avoid the internet until I will be able to watch it.Why can’t Sony choose a better suited time for Japan. I know the foreign market is a much bigger market these days, but they shouldn’t forget where they are coming from.

Sure some people might think, I could just wake up for the event, but it’s just not manageable with 2 small children and a job. Don’t get me wrong, before I had children I would wake up in the middle of the night for any event, but if you have children you already lack some sleep every day.

Always have to be showing off that you live in the coolest place on earth... for a PlayStation fan anyway!

I agree that they have to start thinking of Japan more, I really hope they adjust things a bit.

They won't announce Bloodborne 2 here, From Software is busy working on Elder Ring. They won't announce here their next game because very likelyt isn't even in production, they must be crunching right now to release Elder Ring on time.

Here in Spain/EU, in the past here we had the Sony E3 conferences at 3-5AM. It wasn't cool. Now these recent events here are streamed at 19h or 22h, prime time here. I assume it makes more sense since EU is their biggest market.

I remember back then, when I was a kid I was watching the movie in VHS with some friends, all of us fans of the anime and videogames. When we saw this scene it got us all by surprise and we laughed so hard A LOT. We watched the scene multiple times in a row and laughed again.

It will be interesting if they have acquired Bluepoint to see what they cook up next. I know people are desperate for Bloodborne 2, but I don’t think that’ll ever happen. I think From will do another exclusive collaboration with Sony but it’ll be an original IP again. If Bluepoint want to work on an original game, they already have all of the assets from DeS and know the lore inside and out. Maybe they could work on DeS 2. I’ve always thought there’s more to see from Boletaria. Personally what I’d like to see, is an entire game set in the Land of Giants.

Would be weird to release the remaster for xbox series and then only the sequel for one platform. I think this remaster and sequel is the EGS deal which is a multiplatform deal.

We already know that Sony is not aiming for very good games, but only excellence and we know that they deliver to their promise. So I only expect the best from the first party studios.

So what about the rest, I don’t really think Sony want to water down the event and will also only show the best of the best.

Sure it’s possible they have some marketing deals in place to be forced to promote some games, but I had a feeling they already got rid of some of those in their last state of play, so let’s hope there are not many left..

Alan Wake 2 is being funded by Epic Games. Their exclusive for Sony would have to be a different title.

Just an addendum musing, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Sony use Tuesday and Wednesday to drop some other nuggets prior to the show.

For example, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bluepoint acquisition(if true) confirmed prior to the showcase. In addition, maybe a trailer or blog for things like Horizon, to keep it at the forefront but not needing it at the show.


Also, at the risk of the ire of a lot of people, as a fan, I hope of the games shown, one of them is Shenmue IV.

I know III was divisive, nay, really the whole series, but I love it and would very much like Yu to be able to finish it out.
