GT7 is ok though, we hardly saw it so far. What I'd like to see:
- Sony gained rights to all Konami IP (some teasers and/or roadmap)
- PS Now upgrades
- God of War 2 gameplay
- Astrobot, Returnal and R&C DLC
- Spider-Man 2 tease
- Twisted Metal reboot
- New IP, new surprises
Basically a good mix of things we haven't seen before and are coming soon plus what's coming next for the platform.
Please no but they will:
- Deathloop
- GTA5
- Horizon 2
- GT7
- COD:V
Didnt JImbo say that any future cross gen games after GT7 and GOW2 will also have the #10 upgrade option? Pretty sure hes talking about Factions and whatever MP games they have in development. BP's MGS remake is probably next gen like Demon Souls.so only singleplayer games will be crossgen and then nextgen games on ps5 will be gaas and multiplayer ? x_X
For their first solo project, Mumbauer and his crew wanted to pitch something that would be well received by their bosses at Sony. Recognizing the risks and expense involved with developing a new game from scratch, they decided to focus on remaking older games for the new PlayStation 5.
He thought the remake project was too expensive, according to people familiar with the matter, and asked why the planned budget for T1X was so much higher than remakes Sony had made in the past. The reason was that this one was on a brand new graphical engine for the PlayStation 5. Mumbauer needed to hire more people to help rework the graphics on new technology as well as redesign gameplay mechanics.
StarfieldLet's try something different moving forward...
Instead of predicting what will be revealed. Why don't we try doing the opposite. Alright. Here is the question.
What will not be shown/revealed at the September 9th event? What will we not see on Sept 9th?
Game director Simon Larouche refers to the multiplayer project as a secret unannounced title, hence why everyone assumes it's independent from Forbidden West. Plus you got statements by Hermen Hulst from 3 years ago saying that he wanted Guerrilla to be able to put out new games every two years in the future, which pointed at them becoming a multi-team studio working on various projects at the same time, and Larouche's game being a separate title from HFW would fit into that strategy.I agree with most of your comment here. One question though, why does everyone think Guerillas multiplayer project is separate from Forbidden West? Has there been anything that's indicated as much?
OK, this is a huge revelation to me...I've watched Scarface about 20 times and always thought he said "cakewalk"I see a few Xbox guys got lost on the way to the monthly 'PlayStation will not get Starfield and ES6' thread.....
Already trying to downplay and undermine, sad. So sad!
I quite liked the xbox E3 event as it showed what we were getting this year including on gamepass and the next year of Bethesda. It also included Somerville and Replaced which I am looking forward to. I think the Sony one this week might be closer to the first xsx showcase where we see a longer term roadmap.I love how E3 goes all the way to September now.
On a more serious note, this will likely be better than all of E3. 300 to 1 odds.
I don't think COD Vanguard's gonna be at the show.
And i'm happy about that.

Fucking two days left.
Cant wait. Im getting a haircut for this.

be better than all of E3
WTF is this? Why is this making rounds on Twitter?
10 min of vulcano high gameplay are not gonna look any better with a different haircut.
I don't think COD Vanguard's gonna be at the show.

Yes. But if some of the upcoming MP games are F2P (not sure if it will be the case) that wouldn't apply, obviously.Didnt JImbo say that any future cross gen games after GT7 and GOW2 will also have the #10 upgrade option?
Sony will focus on late 2021 and 2022 games. There may be maybe a handful 2023 games. They have enough 1st party published exclusives, 3rd party exclusives (big and small, and of all types) plus top multis with marketing deal to don't need to announce or show there 2024 games. There is only so many studios, and so many devs over at Sony. Expecting brand new AAA single player games from ND, SSM, GG while they are struggling to put out sequels is too much. Best case scenario, they have these games in pre-production ready to go in full production right after they ship their cross gen games, but then we are looking at at least two years after 2022. Will Sony announce 2024 titles at this conference?
When are you coming back from your holiday? From reality I mean. I wish I lived in a world where it took 6 months to make a game. That sentence disqualifies everything you said before. Difficult to be credible after that statement.Yes. But if some of the upcoming MP games are F2P (not sure if it will be the case) that wouldn't apply, obviously.

Consider that studios like ND, SSM, GG or Insomniac are working on multiple games. SSM and GG have been working on an unannounced game since 2018. ND seems to have TLOU2 PS5+TLOU remake+TLOU2 MP game+Uncharted 4 PC port and who knows if they continue with the Uncharted spinoff they were developing with help from Bend. And Insomniac typically releases at least one or two games per year.
I don't think COD Vanguard's gonna be at the show.

I never said it takes 6 months to make games. Recent AAA games took on average around 5 years to be developed. 6 months it's what it took decades ago. When are you coming back from your holiday? Plus the final trailer for Death Stranding: Director's Cut tomorrow. With all that shit out of the way, I'm starting to get the feeling that already announced games would amount to just 1/3 of the showcase, with the remaining 2/3 of it being new titles being shown for the first time.Interesting that we got Call of Duty Vanguard multiplayer trailer today, Alan Wake announcement today and Horizon pre order trailer 5 days ago, Deathloop a week ago. Perhaps all these won't be shown in this event. As the last trailer is so recent.
Nah, it looks so bad that it could be real XDIts an obvious fake.
Only 1 of those is a homerun in the end and its not the catdog game.Maybe it will be like E3 2015 where Sony announced FFVII Remake, The Last Guardian and kickstarted Shenmue 3. Maybe...
battlefield has a marketing deal with xbox... thank godYeah I don't need shitty cod or battlefield etc in this showcase.
I wanna see good stuff not massproduced shooters.
I don't think COD Vanguard's gonna be at the show.

Agreed. This year reminds me of 2014 when Sony had an absolutely underwhelming E3 2014 conference. They had CG trailers for Bloodborne and that so called realtime teaser for Uncharted 4, and thats about it. The rest was all third party stuff. I remember going to the movie theaters for that conference and being absolutely livid at the lack of first party games shown. It's going to be a lot of indies, ps4 crossgen and 3rd party games at best, then a bit of gameplay of Horizon and a trailer of the new gow, that's it. It will ne nothing interesting as usual, everything is postponed to 2022 when probably we'll start getting some games with nextgen in mind on new nextgen engines

Wel that is the point ...after all the Marvel games released recently , only Spider man is a good one..
Hope Sony better invest on a new IP instead of developing a Marvel game...
You guys are all wrong..this is the real leak!
Can I be on board?Choo Choo, not long to go now guys!!
36 games since 1999. That's around 1.6 games per year on average. Some big ones, some small ones, some tiny ones here and there. Still, not a comment that should have ruffled any feathers but of someone doing nothing in a thread but looking to get triggered. When are you coming back from your holiday? From reality I mean. I wish I lived in a world where it took 6 months to make a game. That sentence disqualifies everything you said before. Difficult to be credible after that statement.
Whatever you think about one of those final releases changes absolutely nothing about the exhilarating feeling of this E3's presentation.Only 1 of those is a homerun in the end and its not the catdog game.
