Hermen's Twitter has this header image. What is the 2nd game in the left between Concrete Genie and MLB and what is that Bridge? Is Nate in a new Uncharted? A new The Order? Is it the London bridge and this is the next London Studio game making a new The Getaway?

Tower Bridge. Just a ref to Blood and Truth.

We don't even have a firm release date for the game, but you expect gameplay footage? Maybe your expectations are misplaced, bud. Not saying it won't happen, but I'd expect a launch date before gameplay footage. Usually, a game is pretty far along by the time you get a gameplay demo. Meaning the devs have a release date in mind by then. Maybe we get both, but I wouldn't bet on it.
If the game really release in 2022, a vertical slice gameplay is nothing crazy to ask about, days gone, horizon and many other sony games had full gameplay trailer more than 1 year before release.

My expecations are more than justified.

And since many sony games had vertical slice gameplay 2-3 years before release, even if gow is a 2023 game, my request still remain realistic.

P.s. before you ask for receipts, days gone had his first gameplay trailer in 2016 (released in 2019), horizon had his reveal in 2015 (released in 2017) and and gow was showed in 2016 and was released in 2018.
And the list continue if we talk triple A in general or other sony games that i don't remember.

My practice is not to watch announcement videos for showcase events until the day of, so I didn't watch the PlayStation Showcase video until now. Anyone else find the showcase's diamond motif suggestive of what's to come?

There are stylized diamond facets. Transparent squares floating upright as they ultimately join into a black background sort of like the old SCE diamond logo. And the triangle, circle, cross and square are blinged-out to look like those 3-row Pavé diamond bangle bracelets sometimes gifted to commemorate milestone anniversaries after many years of bliss, with each row representative of the first three PlayStations. And if that weren't suggestive enough, Sept. 9th is the date of the original PlayStation's launch in NA.

I'm guessing the showcase will be a revival of and recommitment to elements of PlayStation's past spanning the first three generations of PlayStation. Really looking forward to seeing what will manifest today.

I just want to thank you for saying cross and not X. You're good people.

my hyper meter is not that high - most games that will be shown are also release on PS4 . Not much room for Gen defining graphics but iam still confident that we see something nice. :messenger_winking:

The more time passes, the more I hope that Infamous rumor is true( though it is unlikely). The visual effects would look amazing on PS5. Bring my Cole back! Second Son still holds up well visually.
