please god i need persona 6 and pproject re fantasy news. The only information we all have is that both games have been developing for more than 6 plus years. I would say the chance for a trailer is very high. If not in the playstation showcase either in summer games fest or even microsoft conference, might be their way to attract a different audience

project re fantasy was announced as an exclusive ps if i remember correctly, everything could have changed sincesince sega and microsoft have become closer together since the announcement but i wouldn't expect that from them. I hope it shows up soon, I think tgs is atlus' favorite stage.

I read a rumor about the next fromsoftware's game, the codename has already been combined with the "spellbinding" reported in the ps blog... I honestly don't think it's possible that they will announce anything else after armored core and shadow of the eldtree. not in such a short time. moreover, the rumor comes from 4chan...

I have said something similar and yes, this is the best way to get your granddad to buy this shit. take the playstation name off of it. Sell it as a third party peripheral that can run on both the playstation and xbox. PC too. And make it an adult only thing. market it as adult entertainment. Get those horny japanese devs to make some vr hentai stuff and those creepy europeans can make some cool next gen porn because the pilgrims over here in the U.S are not going to do anything like that.

sex is the ultimate goal of vr. And i fear that with AI advancements outpacing VR tech, we might get sex robots faster than photorealistic whores in VR.

Going first has the benefit of setting expectations as well. Sony comes out with an hour of absolute bangers and Microsoft comes out with who knows what and people will be immediately disappointed instead of letting Microsoft have even a little bit of hype time by themselves. I think it’s smart from a marketing perspective for Sony to go first here.

At the same time, if Microsoft somehow delivers a great showcase (especially with another Hifi Rush, "out now!" Situation), it could potentially take the wind from Sony's sails. Either way has its own pros and cons, obviously, but I think I would always prefer to go second, to capitalize on any blunders. Like Sony did after the Xbox One reveal that focused on all the wrong things.
