All PS3 games are universal via HDMI.

PAL PS1 games won't play on my model of 720p HDTV, though.

Strange, I have a NTSC PS3 but use my PAL account to buy some games, all my PAL PS1 games work at 720p via HDMI on my TV. ( Based in the UK btw )

PS1 PAL games play at 50Hz.

The PS3 upscales to 720p@50Hz and 1080p@50Hz not 60Hz.

If you want to play PAL PS1 games on your PS3, your TV needs to support progressive 50 Hz HD resolutions.

Or if your don't use HDMI you can play the games with 576i@50Hz if your TV supports PAL.

This is why UK PS1 games suck the worse. At least other regions play in most regional TV's.

Correct me if im wrong but I think you can play PAL games on an NTSC system if you use an HDTV via hdmi. If you have an SDTV, you cant.

I have NTSC, NTSC/J and PAL PS1 games from all 3 stores on my PS3 and all games work. Just set your video options to automatic and see how you go.

I'd love to see R-Type Command (aka R-Type Tactics) on the store.
I still haven't played the demo. :( Someday, someday...

DAXTER, for Christ's sake, Daxter already!
Adding to my shame, I've never played a Jak & Daxter (or just Daxter?) game.

I do think that the Pinball Hall of Fame games for download would be a real treat. I don't think they did particularly well at retail (and PSP probably worst of all), but I bet they'd get a decent bump at $10 on the PS Store.

I can't recall how it works, if it were ever said. Are UMD Legacy games subject to bandwidth fees too?

The Japanese Playstation Store has Zeus 2 Carnage Heart, which I thought was already released.

Well I guess the Japanese PS Store is saving me money now.

Nope, and this is Hudson Soft's first PSN game so who knows. My guess is $10 - same as Blast for WiiWare.

I think it was 800 MS points on XBLA so I guess $10 is what it's going to be

I'll buy team ICO LBP's costume pack because... well because I love their games but I wish there would be more content like new levels.

And Burnout pack is 12.99€... come on 12.99$ = 9.3€ 9.99€ would have been perfect (I'll buy it too anyway... but I hate you Criterion/EA)

No one saw the cuboid post on the PS.blog? Cuboid DLC coming tomorrow

First up is the Cuboid Booster Pack, which contains 33 new levels that will test even the best players’ skills, rewarding you with new trophies. This pack will cost you just $2.99.

Option number two is the Cuboid Level Editor where you become the level designer and challenge others with your own custom levels. Players can either create a brand new level from scratch, or improve upon any existing level, created by other players or taken from the original campaigns. User-created levels can be uploaded to PSN where they will be made available to other players (who have downloaded the free patch). Players can also earn trophies for creating their own levels, and for rating the levels created by others. The Cuboid Level Editor will cost $3.99.

And finally, for those of you who tend to be either indecisive, or just want it all, the Cuboid Bundle Pack includes both the Booster Pack (33 new levels) and the Level Editor. And how much will all of this additional Cuboid goodness cost, you might ask? You can get the Bundle Pack for the low, low price of just $4.99! How can you go wrong?

I'd go with the bundle pack as it's $2 cheaper rather than just buying one DLC and decide later you want the other!

Really disappointed in no levels in the LBP pack but it's still a definite buy. I foresee lots of online gaming again so I can show off the costumes.

Edit: Haha you can see a little Wander in that last Colossus costume.

Update on PSP UMD Legacy, from j0y5+1q:
So, as of October 1: A "majority" of past PSP titles will be available for download.
After October 1: All first party titles will release as downloads on the PlayStation Network.

What's the deal with Qore. Seems like I can't subscribe now (can I?)... do I have to wait for the next episode to buy a subscription?
