Don't worry about losing souls. It feels bad, but the next area has enemies that give twice as many anyway and progress is more important. It's not nearly as hard as people describe it once you decide to just power through.

Dont rush into the mob in Central Yharnam at the beginning.
The game is hardest at first but it gets easier as you go on once you level up, upgrade weapons and overall become comfortable with your moveset.

I got these in my basket: Bloodborne CE, Rise of Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs DE and GTA V Megalodon bundle.
Sleeping Dogs and Bloodborne seems cheap so I'll probably get those, but are the other 2 great deals or have they been cheaper before?

I know it's called the Extended Play sale but it still makes me mad that GTA V by itself is not available. I don't want those Shark Cards. But hey, Bloodborne Complete Edition so it's not a completely terrible sale. And hopefully NA will catch up with Europe and have Yakuza 0 and Horizon on sale soon.

It's not as hard as people say. It's difficult for sure and there's a learning curve, but once you understand the mechanics you'll find that the game's difficulty is way overblown (for the most part). You just have to dedicate time learning how to play the game.
Bloodborne is the only Souls game I've ever played but I still managed to beat all the bosses (including DLC bosses) solo.
Don't give up.
Sometimes the better strategy is run past the enemies and not try to kill every one of them
And explore every part of the map
Takes about 1 hour, maybe 1 and a half.
It's been on sale multiple times last year.

-Sometimes it is better to dodge toward the enemy rather than away from them.
-Become proficient with the parry/visceral combo.
-Once you die, you lose all your blood echoes to the enemy that killed you. You can run past enemies back to that enemy and get them back.
-The beginning area is tough. Do not feel down and think of giving up. It will all "click" if you push through.
-You will die quite a bit.
-Don't be afraid to be aggressive. Remember, you're the hunter.

Dude we're gonna have another Monster Hunter on console before they put Old Hunters on sale.
I too am waiting for a sale. I can't possibly understand Sony's reasoning by refusing to give it a discount.... while giving the complete edition regular discounts. I don't need to play more Souls that bad to where I will put aside my principals.

It pisses me off that Sony even allows this shit. If GOTY edition is on sale, base should be on sale.
It's been on sale a few times. Pretty sure during both BF and post-holiday. I paid like $35 for it I think.
Good looks I just grabbed that as well. Now that I have a pro I think I'll be happy with the gameplay experience

Yep...same thing happened with Dragon Age Inquistion...they should adjust the season Passes or DLC accordingly.
Probably not, which is why I just bit the bullet and buy it at full price last week. I like having money, but it's also good to support a niche franchise that could actually use the money.
