That D-Pad will hopefully be great for fighting games. Looking forward to UMvsC on my PSV. Might grab Darkstalkers PSP for it too.

The Dpad felt really good to me! It almost felt like microswitches vs membrane so more like the neogeo pocket type feel ( I dont really now if the dpad or face buttons are microswitches).

I wanted to try the dpad with say Umvsc3 but the demo unit had no fighters installed

They are saving their $$$ to optimize the impact. No point advertising early if the thing is not on the shelves yet. Some of the marketing dollars have been used to support the 3G bundles already.

Their fiscal year ends on March 31 right ? If so, they will likely spend their final $$$ for this year for this marketing.

Random Question: Was it ever confirmed if you can delete a game / game bubble from the home screen without deleting all the save data?

This lack of confidence by Sony is really confusing/disheartening.

All I can think of is that they are not sure they can sell a new IP on a new handheld console that's not from Ninty.

I'll give Sony some credit for being willing to sacrifice sales to let the devs follow their vision. Isn't all the voice acting in French no matter what region? That’s clearly a dumb business decision but one the studio wanted to pursue I'm sure.

But to give the game so little support... man it really is Folklore all over again. I hope team siren is still around in a few years because Game Republic sure isn't

Ah well I'm on the outside looking in so I don't really know anything. I'm just happy it exists since it looks like a game I will really enjoy.

I do find it odd that my most anticipated game for the PSV (Gravity Rush) is looking to be another niche game that my friends won't understand or be interested in.

Can marketing, or education, or anything be used to make a game like this a mainstream one? If people go in droves to watch the Oscar nominated films, why can't gamers put aside some brain cycles to appreciate the different and unique titles available?

You can play it at Gamestops. The demo, at least, and it's reviewed well so far.

I figured some people might wanted to install it ahead of time. Very small download, and the software is not intrusive.

I am surprised the Vita won't be using Media Go. However, the content manager is nice and simple. Plus since the Vita can do background downloads, it's not too big of a deal.

Is the wi-fi adapter on Vita B, G or N? I remember specifically using Media Go or my PS3 for PSP downloads because it was too slow.

We've played the demo (it was on my local gamestop unit at least) and what Japanese reviews I saw in this thread were postive with load times being a problem. Artstyle looks great, interesting gravity mechanics, open world, CATS... whats not to love!

Plus the 8-4 guys are involved with it (or maybe just JJ). How can you not love 8-4? They've given us so much podcasting love. Give a little love back

Well, the 4GB Vita card, IMO, is useless, because you can fit all but one and a half Vita games on it.

Other than that, you're right -- it's not a terrible deal, but I'd advise everyone to get at least an 8GB at launch.
