was gonna try it on game pass for a laugh but i dont like the whole crafting/survival genre so not sure if i can be arsed.

been watch a few streamers play it and they seem to be having fun at least, maybe it will inspire Pokemon Co to actually make a good 3d pokemon game tho.

Will be playing this weekend with my brand new 32GB of ram that I got from BestBuy (have not installed it yet). Thats a lot of Pals I can fit in RAM.

I been playing it. They say Pokemon with guns, but it's more like Pokemon, Valheim and Ark had a threesome baby and nobody knows who the father is. That's not a bad thing.

Well optimized, running in 4k 120fps with settings maxed out. It's a fun game.

Is there a nice amount of action?

Congrats to the devs. This should ensure that the game will have long legs. I'm very curious to know what this game will be in a year or so because I think that's when I'll pick it up.

Um...I would say you kinda make it what you want. There are definitely guard rails though. Some of the Pals (Pokemon) will just wreck you. So you kinda have to get your levels up as well as the Pals you've captured in order to even out the fights. I haven't fought a boss yet, but I've seen one that looks like pikachu on steroids with his master on his back. That was a major fight. I haven't seen that in my game yet. I'm focused on doing the missions and learning what all the structures do.

It's janky like an early access game. Has potential but let's not overblow it.

For example - no button prompts for anything. You're just supposed to guess. And the movement sucks. Plays like a PS2 game. The toggle to run doesn't work either.
