And to answer your question, Rhythm Heaven is happiness and fun given corporeal form. If you enjoy music of any kind, chances are there's something for you in Rhythm Heaven. The games are tough but fair, and when you fail you know it was your fault and not the game's. Hence, to dislike Rhythm Heaven is to dislike fun and good game design, which is something only an unholy deity could do.

I think Starmie/Gengar will stay OU due to still being good - though it'll remain to be seen what new tricks XY'll bring to every aspect of the metagame, as we know too little about attacks and mechanics in general, let alone Fairy (aside from DRAGONKILLER status).
I don't know if another shift will be done that affects a large portion of the game, like the Physical/Special split - probably not...?

1. Do you expect that X and Y will be your favorite/best Pokemon games?
Being as I haven't, in my point of view, felt a version ever being superior than the last after Gold and Silver, which, I consider better than Red and Blue, I highly doubt it. There are a lot of things to factor in why this won't be the best for me. Among the few things are certain designs, the theme of the world, the protagonists, and the newer art style. There are more things, but I feel that gives you enough idea of why I highly doubt it.
I am, however, anticipating these games as they are 3D, and I've been wanting 3D mainline games for a looooooooooooooooong time.
2. If you had to choose between Full 3D, Half 2D/3D, or Full 2D, what would you choose?
Depends on the time. Since I haven't had a Full 3D mainline game, I would say Full 3D. I do, however, love full 2D as well.

Absolutely. One is not hindered by the other, and thus, will look a lot better.

To be honest, I consider this an abomination of appearances and design. The toes are creepy, the head piece part is just there to hide it's oddly shaped head, and it has some weird double Gardevoir chest spike thing going on which looks awful.
The idea of a clone, designed to be the "perfect", getting a new form out of the blue is ridiculous. I also think that even adding it in the first place just takes away from Pokemon like Deoxys, which truly is an Alien DNA Pokemon from space.

I truly do not care for this Pokemon. I feel this one is also an abomination to Eevee line before it, and the heart ribbon organic bowties are very odd and disgusting. I think it's really the worst Pokemon design. 5. How do you feel about the overworld graphics of X and Y?
They leave a lot to be desired, although, they have improved a bit since the initial showing. I hope they improve the canyon area as I felt that one was off.

Pretty good, although, I feel it's kind of chalky on the textures. It looks good, though.

I love it, and I love the Surfing Pikachu minigame.
12. Is there anything in particular you dislike about Gamefreak?
I feel as if they've lost their way, in my point of view. At least, not in terms of sales, but I've felt a strong lack of charm and appeal from the games that I haven't felt in a while. I loved Diamond, but at the same time, I do get tired of playing the same thing over and over when they are "new" games. I felt the DS generation really extended the brand of the same ole same ole.
I also do not care for them removing great features like Pokemon following you (which would have been lovely in 3D and easier), Secret Bases, and other things.
I also don't care for the mainstream art style they use now. I like it, but at the same time, I would be utterly lying if I said it didn't feel like generic modernization.

This console has way too many games I felt were not good, or just plain inferior to the N64 and Gamecube ones. It also has a lousy interface, and the motion controls were overly used in so many games where a simple button click would have been more than efficient. I felt a lot of the games had less content than Gamecube games.
Motion controls are innacurate outside of just shaking the controller, at that. The WiiWare games are mediocre, and the whole Wii Shop took forever to kick off.
30. Did you enjoy Pokemon Colosseum or Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness?
I love these games, in fact, I tend to appreciate them more now as it gave us full 3D Pokemon games that weren't tied to a lot of the stuff the main series uses like Gym Leaders.

I just realized, there are Pokémon I dislike.
I don't like Samurott on the design front. Going from Dewott to Samurott was just a "what?" moment for me. It is OK in the games (though mine was pretty shitty). I don't really not like it, but am just disappointed with it.
The same applies to Sceptile, but to a greater magnitude. Grovyle is probably my favourite Grass-type Pokémon out of them all (till Chespin that is lol). It evolving into Sceptile was just "WHY?" for me. It probably is the only Pokémon I can safely say I don't like for sure with no other thoughts about it.

They've got link cables up there too, so unless you guys think they'll be making link cables for X and Y and not use the 3DS's built in wireless capabilities, you shouldn't put much weight into it.
I think 151 is up there because it was THE number of Pokémon people wanted to go after in the original games.

Nah. Those are just innovations of the series through the years.

I've completed the regional 'Dex in all of them, but the closest I've ever gotten to the National was obtaining 430/493 in SoulSilver. I'm just too busy to trade all of them up to the newest version -_-;
I completed it in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and in Black 2 only. I'm close to finishing the National in Black 2, though I'm not sure whether I will get to finishing it or not.

I completed the full Dexes in Gen I/II.
With plus 600 pokes, completing the national dex is just too insane now, plus GF's dumb transfer mechanics.
I gave up my White 2 National Dex challenge, although you do get a great prize this time.

Shiny Charm. Increases Shiny Pokemon rate in both encounters and hatching. If you do the Matsuda method you're chances of getting a Shiny is probably the best ever in the series. Still hard, tho.
They all seem to be innovations other than 151 and Pokedex. Link cables were the only means of trading before the wireless accessory with Firered and Leafgreen, so it'd make sense to place it in the Trade category. I think there's could be more of an ulterior motive than just using it as some obscure colloquialism for "catch 'em all", which the term Pokedex would probably be better to express that sentiment since newer fans aren't exactly well-versed with how many Pokemon were in each region.

Well innovations not just for the sequels but for the games themselves--151 and the Dex were absolutely innovations for newcomers in Gen I.
