Never attempted to catch them all because I play Pokemon for the battling part of the gameplay, not the catching.
This fascinates me. I've never considered that someone might prioritize battling over the collection aspect of the games. Don't get me wrong, I love me some battlin', I've just never met someone that just didn't care about it. Cool!
Ditto, pretty much. The last time I caught them all was Gen 2, but I've just recently done it again in Black 2. DEFINITELY going for it in X/Y!

From my only playthrough with Black, Axew evolved into the champ of my team, throw up sword dance and watch him chew through teams.

The weekend would be pretty late as leaks go wouldn't it?
Well in his playthrough stats and move are randomized (just so long as they fit within the base total)
And even with the choice between both kyogre and haxorous I would still choose kyogre
Besides I don't think poor axew is going to make it that far...

I really hope we don't see any starter evolutions until either the game comes out, or the Corocoro issue that releases in October shows them off (at which point I'll just ignore it lol).
The thought of evolving my starter and having absolutely no idea what it's gonna be is just surreal to me. I hope I get the chance to do that.

Ah thanks, I always thought we usually got it 3 or 4 days before official release but looking back your prediction seems more accurate! Mad hype for this issue, sounds like a lot of Pokemon are going to be revealed!

I doubt I would have been able to catch the Kyogre. My legends rule is still under consideration. I think I might to decide to allow myself to try and catch them.
