There is no understanding.

Only hatred, ridicule and shame

Do not let hatred consume you, for it is a road that tempts the darkest of desires.

In other words, you'll end up turning into a Gengar.

Trubbish ain't that bad

There has been worse

Examples? I know my list of Pokemon I don't like are in this thread, but the only other ones that are closest are other Black and White Pokemon. Luvdisc and Nosepass's evolve form are my least liked outside of this-gen.

Well, In my earnest opinion, Volbeat and Illumise are fucking disgusting to look at, as is a lot of Gen 4.

Trubbish is bad too, believe me, but he's not the worst. His pre-evolution (name escapes me) is pretty cool

Trubbish is the not so bad pre-evolution. Garbodor is the vile, hideous evolution.

I've always thought that Grass type starters always have the best designs. Gotta say I love Turtwig and Snivy.

Fire types, not so much - I love just the Cyndaquil and Tepig lines.

Water types... ah, forget it. (I think I'm attracting someone's wrath.)

I think Trubbish is cute. xD

May as well knock them all out at once.

When picking your favorite type, the type that is considered is it's main type, not it's secondary type. For Flying Pokemon since there is only one with a Flying main type, only pick Normal/Flying.

Water : Oshawott line
Steel : Jirachi

I expected better from you.

Rayquaza's main is Dragon type.
Haunter's main is Ghost type.

Haunter's main is Ghost type.
Weavile's main is Dark type.

Scizor's main is Bug type.
Weavile's main is Dark type.

Chinchou's main is Water type.

Scizor's main is Bug type.

Main/secondary types are a myth. It's not like it makes a difference what order the types are in.

Oh god how are you guys choosing your favorite Pokemon by type? That's so difficult. :(

And Garbodor isn't that bad at all. I find it kind of cute.

I have a question for you guys... My Pokemon Black DSi got robbed a while back, so I've been playing exclusively on 3DS. Let me tell you, the 3DS is the least comfortable piece of shit ever designed when you use the d-pad exclusively. Plus, the glorious pixel art becomes blurry on 3DS. I'm trying to decide between a 3DS XL and a DSi XL to play Pokemon with. Which do you think I should go for? I'd expect the d-pad on the 3DS XL to be a bit improved, but I don't know after my experience with the 3DS. Also, the blurriness upsized might look horrible. I've heard good things from the DSi XL though.

Does anyone who has both a 3DS and a DSi XL give me some insight as to if it's worth it at this point? I'm probably thinking too hard about this but I'm a strapped for cash so I'm worrying a lot about luxury expenses.

If you are strapped for cash don't buy a new system to play a game you can already play.

The one constant that I've seen in reports about the 3DS XL is that DS games look fabulous on it. Put it on native res, and it's meant to be great.

I haven't used a DS XL, so I don't know how it stacks up.

Also this.

Why don't you just use the analog stick..?

The DSiXL is amazing, but if DS games are meant to look fine on the new 3DS then perhaps it's worth waiting for that.

Well mainly because I have some spare money because it's Summer, and with me playing my 3DS a lot my hands get sore as fuck. I play piano, guitar, and a bunch of other stuff which is dependent on my hands. Having a sore left hand due my 3DS is really annoying.

First world problem, I know. But if I have some spare money that's either going to an electronic or more expensive food for the month, I'd personally go for the electronic device.

Another person who prefers adorableness over function in Pokemon games. Are so hardcore for cuteness that you held back evolutions just for the cute Pokemon? That is the true test. Kind of reminds me of the whole "Christian Pokemon rule-set". Made me lol, as an atheist. My Catholic friend however was not as amused. ;P

Haha! Cute stuff are pretty usable in-game, since I don't bother with competitive anything.

Also, nice work on reminding me of Rock/Steel mix-up. Now Rock is --- and Steel is Excadrill. :p
