Since I've never really played Pokemon before, I can't tell if what I'm catching is good or bad or rare, etc. Tried looking up a few 'rarity' charts, but also read that many of them are BS. For my interesting catches yesterday, I got a Clefairy, an Electabzz, a Haunter, 2 Hypnos, a Psyduck, a Staryu, and a Wartortle. Are any of these particularly good?

Yeah I'm level 20 and would kill for a wartortle

After our adventures driving around town and seeing rival teams, one of my friends and I grabbed our bikes at 2:00 am and rode into town. We stopped at a cemetery along the way to hunt a jigglypuff, made a loop to grab all the pokestops, and hit 2 gyms. It took us 2 and a half hours, but I haven't exercised that well in a long time and I'm ready for bed.

We're planning to do it again tomorrow.

It depends on the CP you caught them with but Electabuzz, Haunter and Wartortle are pretty rare so nice job!

The Electabuzz is 282, Haunter is 131, and Wartortle...18.

They don't seem particularly high, but all of them popped up in my living room, so no real skin off my back, I guess. One of the Hypnos was 333. That seems decent.

Nah...I caught my Vaporeon at like...level 17 tonight lol. And it was only like 550 CP.

I evolved a 390 Eevee into an 800+ Vaporeon.

Caught a Psyduck! And then 2 minutes later caught a Golduck!

FINALLY got a Vaporeon, who quickly overtook my Flareon for my second BAE.

New pecking order.

It's not over - you know where she lives. If you liked her, go be in the area and doubtless you would bump into her again and start again.

I know her first and last name, where she works, and where she lives. I feel like it'd be creepy though to actively find her on FaceBook to ask her, or "casually" run into her at her work place.

I think I'm gonna go back tomorrow night for an hour and if I run into her again, talk to her again for as long as I can too make it less awkward when I ask her out.

I just felt so awkward asking her out at her door when we've only known each other for literally an hour.

Generally for this game, the higher the CP, the stronger the pokemon.

But you shouldn't concern yourself with high CP pokemon until you get past like...level 10.

You don't lose pokemon. If they lose in gym battles, you just have to revive them and heal them with potions.

The Eevee was like... 502. Evolved into the screen shot CP. The last screenshot with the higher CP is after powering it up two times I think.

I really enjoy the game, but I also have the feeling I will drop it within the first month.
Claiming gyms is fun, but it will also get old pretty fast.

I love this game and am already level 20...but I don't touch gyms because of how incredibly retarded the whole system is

Hoping it gets fixed, the deficiencies are pretty damn obvious

But yeah, jumping in when everybody online is already high level or even starting to quit is kinda sad.

Should also note that with gym battles, you can bring 6 pokemon with you and the amount of pokemon at the gym depends on the Gym Level. A level 1 Gym will only have 1 pokemon to challenge, level 2 will have 2, etc... up to level 10.

So even if all your pokemon are in the 200-300 CP range, if you say, find a level 1 gym with a 500CP pokemon, you'll have 6 pokemon to try to defeat that 1 pokemon.

Once you lower a rival gym's prestige to 0, you can then place 1 of your own pokemon in that gym.

I've never once seen a Magikarp and I'm on 98 seen; so that's another strongly regional one.

Magickarp is common near the water here, along with Krabby, Psyduck, Staryu, Tentacool.

Zubat has been half to two thirds of my nearby panel in any direction for a mile, for two days. Day or night. Annoyingly as you level up, they waste more and more pokeballs..

Sounds great until you see that one pokemon go to an empty bar, and the timer tick down to 0, and still nothing happens... So you quit and restart. And try again, and the same thing happens. Then you realise why it is there. Because it is bugged.

It depends on what attacks they're using and what attacks you're using.

Does your Jolteon have an electric attack as its normal?

What are the attack types? That's what matters. Jolteon might be using pin missile which is bug type. Maybe the Pidgeotto was using an earth type attack.

I live in Los Angeles county, so I'm sure the stop frequency situation isn't terrible (studio city to be exact)
