Pokemon ZA should really be a Switch 2 exclusive. Pokemon Arceus ran and looked like complete garbage.
Well they like to sell copies and make money, so releasing it only on a system that just released in June and won't even be at 10 million by October would be like the worst business decision ever. Pokemon releases games on platforms with a large base, not a tiny one.

It's not like the game looks remarkably better on Switch 2, honestly you can put lipstick on a pig, buuuut. Here's hoping a true Switch 2 exclusive Pokemon in 2027 looks better.

As a lifelong Pokemon fan ever since the first game came out, the series is just stagnated. We have all this new technology and yet the gameplay is basically the same, the graphics are stuck in the early 2010s, there's so much more they can do that they just don't.

Not sure what I mean? Take a look at Mario. Compare a Mario game released in the early 90s all the way up to right now. The amount of innovation, gameplay changes, etc are almost unbelievably more significant than what Pokemon has seen.

I know how this company works bro but thanks for telling me.

I havent played Arceus and i probably wont with ZA around the corner. Im itching for a Pokemon game and i will give this a shot- but this really looks uninspiring to me, especially the fact that it all takes place in a city? ugh.

I wish they stuck with the feudal Japan setting of the Legends subseries. That helped it stand out from the mainline series, but this new one just kind of looks like a standard Pokemon game.

I'm not even a huge Pokémon fan, but Arceus seemed like a significant departure from the main games

I thought Arceus was a good game actually, it just looked and ran terribly. I still managed to have a lot of fun with it.

Why innovate or try a little more when pokmeon games sale regardless

The masses don't care, they just consume

Graphics look bad but Gameplay and premise wise this game is the most different and experimental the series has ever been...
