Started a brief discussion on game mechanics (i.e Pokemon Trainers) but I can find very little else of relevance or content in this entire thread from Salva. While that itself doesnt mean hes scum, it is rather frustrating to witness and wastes time if Salva is town. Null, Salva gonna Salva.
Sawneeks [f]
Only played with her once in PiS where admittedly I had her as scum throughout the game although she was town. We butted head several times and she really pushed me to think and analyze everything said. Quick to latch onto the Triangle debate, but thats not really damning in of itself. Definitely one of our discussion leaders early on in the thread. However, I feel like something is off. She was unfocused and a bit all over the place. Im a little troubled. Leaning Town but with hesitations.
Sophia [f]
Everybody wants to talk about her. Despite the dogpiling and namedropping I feel that Sophia is contributing to the discussion at large, no allowing herself to get sidetracked and bringing attention to things and plodding people to engage and post. She, as well Sawneeks have been fueling much of the conversations and pulling for everyone to participant. I have seen little to form an opinion of anything but Town.

An unexpected (but so expected) surprise debut. My read here is messy. Full disclosure time -- Im still bitter that Splinter has been scum in both of the last two games weve been in and even though I noticed something was off I dismissed it as being paranoid. Therefore, Im reserving judgment until I can compile more evidence.

Stanley from the moment go has been uncharacteristically activity and prepared to scum hunt. This could be attributed the very recent bitter defeat in the Prices is Right game in part due to CM, who as previously mentioned decided to rub salts on those recent wounds. Overall, Im liking this new and improved Stanley. Leaning Town.

Why did you bring up Sawneeks when your read of her is more shaky?
I would love to get this as well. Some of my first games were with scum!Splinter.

Because I'm developing reads on everyone. I think it is beneficial to have some basis on everyone to track throughout the game, especially with such a large cast, as early as possible.

I'm usually a bit too subtle about my real feelings (that's kinda how I talk/write) and feel like I should clarify by saying my scum read of Sophia is really strong. Tunneled, for sure, but I'm trying to doubt myself and keep holding on to the scum read.
One of the many things is her view on me. Notice very early on how positive it seems and then there's a weird shift after I vote (I tried to push her, asking if she scum read me). Overall though her posts reads as trusting me, but she slips in scum reads and worried tells. It feels too calculated and not like someone genuinely worried I might be scum. Like she's trying to bait out people suspicious of me instead of actually figuring me out.

I'm kinda wary of Verelios and melonrabbit. Mostly gut though, especially the former. Melonrabbit is a tougher read as evident by me initially town reading her. I gotta go more in-depth through her reads. Her latest post (question to be) was slightly townie.

I had you on the list too but then I was like o ya rabbit has been doing those long read lists and hasn't had any standout reads so he actually falls into the pleasing middle ground where scum thrive. but looking back on it nin did that too. I just had gut feelings about you two.

I was thinking, how WOULD I play if I am ever scum. My most self-destructive attitude was when I was the doctor, and most of the time I am vanilla. The only time I ever got to be scum was when I was a replacement in PW and by then I was pretty much doomed.

He made a few drive by posts, and while I share a bit of his Lucario dislike (I feel like Nintendo pushed really hard to get people to like him and didn't let hit happen organically), it would have been nice to hear from him once class was over.
Totally willing to change my vote if he comes back or if anyone else makes a convincing argument.

And looking to the future, I really do think a lot is bound to change after we're past the first night. Scum is bound to kill one of us, but there are other trainer's out there, too, trying to capture us.
Just guessing at this point, but if being caught by a trainer opens up some sort of Mason Chat, keep in mind that Team Rocket might be able to catch, as well as kill.

Since this is a tedious task and no one will seriously take into account his accusations based on favourites he himself assigned to people, I doubt it is coming from a scum player. Dusk, how exactly do you want to catch scum with this process?

Roy (is a gut feeling)
Splinter (null read means you should be lynched by default, don't want to get burned again)
Alternatives are as always the inactives: Bronx-Man, Barrylocke

I don't think being captured by a trainer necessarily means that our time is up in the game. Just reading the opening flavor, it states that there are trainers already living with us Pokemons so that are likely aligned as town. Again that's just reading the flavor.
Team Rocket being able to recruit additional members into their ranks is plausible. Based on my knowledge of the lore, there are only 3 members of Team Rocket. Seems too low a number for a game this size.
