So I'm running a Charizard Y set and I can't decide between Air Slash or Roost for his final spot (Fire Blast, Solar Beam and Dragon Pulse are the other moves). Is Roost worth it on him? Can he even last that long where Roost will be useful?

I'd go with either Air Slash or Focus Blast, Roost is nice but i wouldn't use it on MegaCharY.

I haven't tried Roost, but Air Slash isn't that useful in my experience. It seems to do less damage even when super effective than a sun boosted Fire Blast. But I might be wrong there. I don't do calcs or anything.

I think Air Slash is useful for fighting and other Fire types. I'll have to experiment with it to find out if I'll replace it with Focus Blast. Thanks!

Go for Focus Blast in the last slot for more coverage. Air Slash isn't really that powerful and I don't think CharY will last long enough for Roost.

I kinda want to try a special Mega Lucario as well, so I'm interested in knowing this too. I'm probably going to breed a Timid Lucario first. A Modest Mega Lucario, even with 252 speed EVs, is slower than base 100 speed Pokemon with a speed boosting nature and 252 speed EVs. This includes Pokemon like Charizard, Volcarona, Salamence, Staraptor, Garchomp, Mega Pinsir, etc.

What kind of moveset would you give a special Lucario?

Kee Berry + Maranga Berry at the Juice Shoppe can reset EVs. Just put them in the Berry Field and grow them. You can use the berry mixing in the Juice Shoppe once a day though.

I was thinking Aura Sphere, Vacuum Wave, Flash Cannon and Nasty Plot.

I've just trained a Hitmonchan with Vacuum Wave and now I'm realizing that Riolu is a baby Pokemon and I'll need to max happiness before it can breed. And then the IVs will probably be shit because Hitmonchan is a bad father ;_; This is going to be Togepi all over again.

Does anyone have a female Lucario with nice IVs I could borrow? Pleeeeeease.
