It's probably on the same level as the Ho-Oh/Lugia imo, while the other Y one is more like Dialga/Palkia/Kyogre/Groudon in nature.

X version it is because Charizard is able to learn a lot of decent Claw attack moves. Besides Fire/Dragon is a better typing than Fire/Fly. I do not want to spoil myself too much before I play this game.
I thought about going digital for this game but I would be devastated if something happened to my console and I lost all of my pokemons. It does not hurt that I have a free giftcard to use on the game so will definitely pre order it during the week. University will be tough once Pokemon releases.

They're Hold Items, so yes. Stick them on any Pokemon and trade theme over.

They are hold items, you can trade Pokemon that are holding them.

Yeah, just missed the typing, so that means its ability is Levitate which is why its in a Sky Battle. A bit disappointed but fucking finally!

It's more likely that Pokemon can change their abilities/typing during sky battles without "falling down."

Otherwise, moves like smackdown, soak, skill swap etc would be gamebreaking.

As far as we know, X's type change does nothing to fix Charizard's crippling weakness to Stealth Rock.

I don't think my poor heart could stand that... Tyranitar is one of my all-time favorite Pokémon, so if he's getting a Mega-Evolution, I'm gonna friggin' lose it.

You have a point there. Charizard is better in special attack and the most powerful fire moves are special. I guess I will go with Y then! I hate pokemons that get such a wide move pool but at the same time their stats are not that compatible with it. Unless his attack stat grows substantially as he evolved into the X form then the Y form is a better offensive pokemon.
