Not too hot about the mega stone implementation (I thought they were trying to remove silly limitations, not remove some then impose new ones).

Still, I wonder if this will be enough to make Y the less popular version. I also wonder given Shiny Charizard is black then does this mean Shiny Mega X Charizard will be red?

I love it and I have love every Mega form. I think this Charizard is going to actually make me choose X version.

But is anyone else worried they're focusing a bit too much on Mega Evolutions? I've liked them all but I'd rather see more new Pokemon, even more "normal" evolutions rather than a buch of these Mega forms.

People did NOT like old pokemon getting evolutions. People still hate Gen IV's evolutions to older pokemon, and it's been 7 years since DP were released. This mega-evolution method pleases both people who want to their favors to remain unchanged and those who want some extra power.
