Why does everyone keep saying that the fire starter is a pig? It it a rabbit. It is hopping on the battle video. Rabbits hop. Pigs do not. A rabbit. Fire rabbit. Un conejo.
Has there actually been a Pokemon that you could only get by breeding two very specific animals together to get a third species? Y'know, like Lion+Tiger=Liger sort of thing?
I know of Pokemon you can only get by breeding but that only needs one specific parent.
Tropius needs an evolution that doesn't destroy its awesome looks like Scizor did to Scyther and Scyther needs an alternative evolution that makes him cool to use again.
Of the pokes with no evolution line whatosever, I'd like to see Qwilfish, Tropius, Carnivine, and Kangaskhan get one. The latter three look more like final forms of something else, and I was amazed to discover Qwilfish didn't evolve back in the day.

Electivire actually came out pretty good. And I said it before, but Magmar wasn't exactly a looker in the first place. Giving him megabusters was awesome though.
Pokémon that I would like to see get new evolutions:
* Ninetales - Sadly, I don't think this will come to pass, as Ninetales will be overshadowed by the latest fox line of Zorua and Zoroark.
* Persian - So much potential to be a totally badass cat that epitomizes Team Rocket's cool, menacing attitude.
* Farfetch'd - It just seems about time. I don't have any particular attachment to him, but I think they could come up with something creative for its evolution.
* Mr. Mime - I've always liked him, and I think it would be neat to see him evolve. Mime Jr. was just kind of a nuisance. I'd like to see an all-out clown evolution for Mr. Mime.
* Lapras - It feels as though Lapras is kind of cast aside in favor of other Water-types. Hopefully it will make use of its plesiosaur heritage and evolve into something both graceful and formidable.
* Tauros - It's already pretty cool, but I can picture an even more enraged and fearsome evolution that would be even better.
Then again, given the results with adding evolutions for Tangela, Magmar, and Lickitung, I dunno if any of the lines that I mentioned would fare any better. =/
I like Tangrowth, though, and Electivire is pretty cool, too.

* Mr. Mime - I've always liked him, and I think it would be neat to see him evolve. Mime Jr. was just kind of a nuisance. I'd like to see an all-out clown evolution for Mr. Mime.
Oh, and I forgot that we need more Eeveelutions! I was also thinking that this generation should introduce a Devolution Spray, hearkening back to the TCG. This could be of great use to Pokémon with branched evolutions, as one could raise a Pokémon to learn a certain move, devolve it, and then evolve it into an alternate form. The Eevee family is what first came to mind, since it would open up the Eeveelutions' respective movepools immensely: Vaporeon with Psychic, Espeon with Flamethrower, Glaceon with Surf, etc. I can't tell, however, if this would just make the Eeveelutions more generally usable, or if it might go too far into the realm of "broken." =/
