Poliwag family? I love Poliwag but Whirl and Wrath are so dumb. Theyre almost identical too...with Wrath just looking a little meaner and not as pot bellied.

Looking at a list of all the Pokemon, it's surprising how many I forgot even existed even though I'm a big fan. Seriously, when was the last time you saw these guys?:

I rarely ever see trainers use them. I think even the developers wanted to forget about Gen III's new Pokemon.

Poliwhirl, I cant cosign you on that. Poliwrath does suck quite a bit though. Hence, my advocation for Wotter becoming the new Water/Fighting type on the block. If at first you dont succeed and all that, ya know. Also, I'll never understand the love for Diglett and Dugtrio. Laziest designs ever. Seems all they're good for is disturbing fanart.

Gen 3. I actually just traded to evolve them last night. :lol Gorebyss and Huntail I believe. It's what you use the DeepSeaScale and DeepSeaTooth for (trade with Clamperl.)

Gorebyss and Huntail. They evolve from Clampearl depending on what item they are holding. They are from Gen III. No one ever uses them, I don't think I've seen a single trainer ever use one. The item to make them evolve was hard to get in Gen III so a lot of people just said "fuck it" and forgot about them.

I didn't say that all those Pokemon were from Gen III (some are from Gen II and IV), but the majority of the ones I posted were from Gen III.

Also I didn't say I hated those Pokemon, just that I completely forgot about them because they never appear in the games or players never talk about training them.

I mean how does a pearl oyster evolve into eels?

Edit:Gen 3 has also too much "duo" of pokemons: the two pikachu ripoffs,the two fireflies,the two cocoons,the two eels,the two flying rocks,latias latios...
We got it you introduced dual battles...

That was really overkill. I like the concept of dual battles, but Gen III really stuffed it down our throats..

This reminds me of something I thought of the other day.

I'm probably alone in this, but I want a lot more forced 'double battles'. It was honestly such a cool mechanic and really felt like a huge step forward for Pokemon. I remember seeing previews for the Gen III games and getting totally pscyhed thinking "Oh, shit! This is going to totally change Pokemon!"

But you only ever fight a double battle once in a blue moon. I think they should make up like 40% of the battles in the game... that's just me though.
 
Everyone hating on Frosslass is absolutely full of fail. It's seriously one of the most useful Pokemon ever crafted. You can build some serious teams around it for both casual and hardcore play.

Not really. What makes it look so ugly? It's quite obvious what kind of Pokemon it's meant to be (looks like a Japanese woman to Jynx's European woman) so I don't see how it's a mess in design.

Good point except for the fact that it looks like absolute piss.

Some mons look like crap till you see them from other angles or whatever. There is just no possible way that this abomination can look anything better than awful.

TBH I've always felt that Chimecho was just a filler Pokemon. An afterthought, just to include more new monsters in the game. It's placement in the game code didn't help my opinion either :/
 
I'm surprised they haven't made a cute kitten Pokémon that looks like an actual kitten, Shinx was probably closer to this than any of the house cat Pokémon.

In terms of evolutions, I'd like to see:
Fire/Flying Rapidash Pegasus evo
Ghost and Flying Eeveelutions
Tauros/Miltank pre-evo
Badass Shuckle evo
Dragonair alt evo.
Something with Absol.
Something with Seviper
Girafarig evo with a long neck.
Donphan evo.

We got 18 in GII, only 2 in GIII, and about 30 of these in GIV.
 
Chimecho is such a cool Pokemon. But maybe I just think that because James owns one... although I thought that before I knew that...
 
I wanna see a Stantler evolution with some big ass antlers and shit.

...which reminds me of how desperately we need a moose Pokemon.

I also wouldn't mind a Dunsparce evolution.

Oh right, Dunsparce. I've actually wanted to add some forgettable Pokemon to my previous post, but couldn't think of any. Dunsparce is so forgettable that everybody forgets to put him even on forgettable Pokemon list.

Opinions may differ, but I believe that Dunsparce is THE ultimate most forgettable Pokemon ever. Adding an evolution might help his status... for now he is stuck in abyss of suckiness :/
