Pokemon sequel is under development for DS

Staraptor has feet, so it will prolly be standing. maybe flapping it's wings every now and then.

They can just write that in the video description and I can read it if I want to know what I'm missing. Now it just makes the video longer and it forces me to skip a lot of their crap. I know it's not common but it's been happening in a lot of the Pokemon news videos on youtube.

zubat and maybe crobat it has feet but it seems like the games dont want them to exist
 
There are some rumors going around. Some of it is from GameFAQs and some of it is from PokeJungle. The sources are pretty sketchy obviously, but I thought I'd post it here just in case. A lot of the rumors are the same from both sources, but I've seen the PokeJungle guy post at GameFAQs so it's very possible he just took the GameFAQs stuff and added onto it to get hits. Regardless, here it is...

- Nezumimi is the green monkey Pokemon that we’ve seen the toy of.
- Nezumimi evolves into Nezumidori, who has a tree coming from its body.
- Jiari is an ant like Pokemon.
- Nenuzura is another bird Pokemon.
- The unknown Pokemon from the anime concept art leak and the toys is Namakusu.
- Namakusu evolves into Ononokusu.
- Karakusu is a Pokemon that resembles a marionette and has eyes like Banette, and could possibly be a Banette evolution.
- Tsutaja evolves into Tsutawaiya (ツタワイヤ). Tsutawaiya evolves into Tsutatesura (ツタテスラ), which is a cobra-like Pokemon.
- Mijumaru evolves into Yuudatsu (ユウダツ). Yuudatsu evolves into Rakkobushi (ラッコブシ), which is a big otter with shells across its body.
- Pokabu evolves into Boirubuta (ボイルブタ). Boirubuta evolves into Ranranbo (ランランボ), which is a boar with steam coming out.
- Heracross gets an evolution named Atokurosu (アトクロス).
- Kasame (カサメ) is a Pokemon resembling an umbrella.
- Toraroiya (トラロイヤ) is a new Steel type Pokemon.
- From the video of the triple battles, the green ghost Pokemon is Serufiru (セルフィル), the rock Pokemon is Gizajiemu (ギザジェム), and the black dress Pokemon is Goshikkuro (ゴシックロ).

If you're wondering which is which, the ones with the Japanese names next to them are from PokeJungle, while the rest are from GameFAQs. Like I said, probably fake considering the sources, but interesting nonetheless.

If the Heracross evo name is true, it would follow the naming pattern:
Heracross = Heracles + cross
Atcross?/Atlacross?/Atlocross?/Atlurcross? = Atlas + cross

But...I would wait before believing a source from a random post at GameFAQS. Just gonna have to wait on new info :/

Almost always on the 11th/12th of each month, approx. 6 - 6:30 A.M. EST., going by past years, and the posts made in this thread around that time.

I mean, it could be different this time, I don't know. Just making a guesstimate.
 
I don't remember this many leaks/pieces of news before the releases of other games. We have Pokemon Sunday, CoroCoro, videos on some other Japanese show, images of toys, etc... it's almost like we're getting new info every day. I guess since the games are coming in two months in Japan, that's to be expected... but it still seems like more than usual. Anyone else agree?

Could be a good Water/Ghost type.

"Kasa" means umbrella, while "me" can mean "eye," which would also fit with that yokai. "Same" can also mean "shark," but... I don't know how you make an umbrella shark. :P
 
The PokeJungle guy is posting on various forums now basically telling people NOA told him that info, so it sounds to me like he's just trying to promote his site and made it up. Here's what he said on the PokeBeach forums...

I was contacted this morning by someone claiming to work at NOA (not high up, not going to reveal exactly what they do) and it led to a few rumors. He wouldn't give me the starter names in English because it was a lot more serious to leak those over Japanese info, but said pokemon.com would update by the end of July with it. You guys can judge for yourself whether or not you think the info is legit.

I'm calling fake. The GameFAQs thing I'm not sure of yet (though very skeptical), but I think the PokeJungle thing is fake.

EDIT: Well in case they are fake, someone translated the meanings of the names...

Boirubuta= probably ‘boil’ + ‘buta’ (pig)
Ranranbo= maybe comes from ‘ranbou’? (rude/violent)
Tsutawaiya= ‘tsuta’ (ivy) + ‘wire’?
Tsutatesura= Oh my gosh. ‘tsuta’ + Tesla?! Grass/Electric confirmed?
Mijumaru’s evolution’s names are from two different words for otter
Atokurosu= Like Heracross ‘Atlas’ + ‘Cross’ (from the Atlas beetle)
Kasame= Based on a traditional Japanese monster
Toraroiya= Not sure, but maybe from ‘tora’ (tiger)
Serufiru= I’m thinking ‘cell’ + ‘chlorophyll’ (grass type, probably)
Gizajiemu= ‘gizagiza’ (jagged)+ ‘gem’
Gosshikuro= ‘gothic’ + ‘kuro’ (black)

It's named after the Atlas Beetle. I think the Hercules Beetle is actually larger than the Atlas on average.

Can't trust rumors for a game like Pokemon. It remember it got really crazy for Diamond and Pearl.

Hercules Beetle is also the strongest animal ever ever so it's kinda weird there too.

It doesn't make sense for Heracross to have an evolution in the first place either.

Mewtwo Returns wasn't one of the main movies.

And I think the middle few movies were the worst. They got better with the Diamond and Pearl trilogy.
 
Yeah.. I'm gonna be really pissed if this info pans out and Heracross get's an Evo while Lapras, Turos and Pinsir continue to be ignored.... what the fuck is this bullshit gamefreak, why do you hate them so?

YES, PINSIR NEEDS AN EVOLUTION TOO!

Maybe Pinsir and Heracross can share an evolution, and whichever evolves into it, has an effect on the stats and typing.

Would be weird I suppose.
 
If that Tsutatesera thing is true it would explain the yellow additions on Tsutaaja's and its evo's body. Of course we all thought Zekrom would be a part-Dark type because it's black but, conversely, that turned out part-Electric, so...

A Grass/Electric type would be pretty frickin' awesome though.
 
Funny names...

And I think "Ranranbo" is suppose to be "ranran" (flaming/blazing) and "bo" (boar?). Though maybe "ranbou" was the second part of the naming pun. :P
