Pokemon sequel is under development for DS

This is true, and the Pokemon all succeed at being memorable or at least for me.

Yeah, I'm never gonna confuse two Pokemon and the ONLY two Pokemon that I feel are too similar are Furret and Linoone, but even they have unique features.
 
Wow, these new Pokemon have grown on me immensely. Fuzzy bat looks adorable with his single pointy toof.

The eagle is awesome too. Reminds me of a native American headdress.
 
All this talk of wishful evolutions and not one mention of poor Mightyena. :( Of course a simple stat and/or movepool fix would also be grand. As it stands right now Mightyena is only good for taking on walks and teaching tricks. Any chance at all GF will make it useful for gen V?

What would it be called? All I can think of is EpicYena? m all for more dog like pokemon. I need another to round out Growlithe, Hondour, and Poochyena.
Arcanine gets an evolution? epic, lol
 
N looks really cool.

And with version specific areas, it looks like Demikids Light/Dark is coming back in more ways than one.

If a Pokemon is able to land and walk then it shouldn't be pure flying type.

An evolution of Arcanine would be amazing, and then we'd need one for Ninetails as well!
Most fire types actually do need an evolution, Torkoal!

But Roost is a Flying move and it is all about landing.
IMO, the Flying type has nothing to do with always being airborne it's just a reference to powered flight as typified by birds (who sometimes land).

- In triple battles, the placement of your Pokemon is important to the battle.
- New feature called "Passing By" that allows your DS to connect automatically with other nearby players.
- DSi as new feature for video chat! Two player locally, four player over Wi-Fi.

EDIT: My keyboard works now after opening and closing Google Chrome a few times. I fixed my post now.

These new co-op features (with other players "entering your world") are starting to sound more and more like those implemented in Dragon Quest 9.

I still say the game is in the Chugoku region of Japan.

I'm not digging some of these new Pokemon. Maybe because I'm just not used to them yet, but a few of them look like clusterfucks.

Well guess that confirms that the game is region restricted on DSi's. So I'll be stuck playing it on my DS Lite. :/
 
I actually wondering to PokeBeach as to why he said "it's the worst Pokemon movie ever".

Granted, the Pokemon movies are hit and miss, but recently they've been in good quality.

Also I'm sure this observation has already been made but the new water/ice otter guy looks like he's sad because he woke up with a penis drawn on his chest. :lol

You know, I hope this happens. The Pokedex is getting bigger and wasn't there a rumor (or is it confirmed?) about the previous gen Pokemon not being as common or most of them not appearing at all in Isshu? It would be cool to fly to other regions to catch the older pokemon and complete the pokedex without having to transfer half of them from other games. Oh, and please bring back the Super Contests, they were fun in D/P and I'm a ribbon whore.

I thought we knew of that quite a while back? Unless, lol, there were more details. The music has actually paled quite a long time that I never even had it on to hear the beeping of low health notification.

I really hope they don't pull a R/S and omit numerous old gen Pokemon. I still don't know why Nintendo hasn't released a real Pokemon box for Wii so you can transfer Pokemon from one DS cart to another. I think the 3DS has some temporary internal memory, so maybe that will solve the problem.

More new stuff from PokeBeach...

- There is a new "High Link" feature that is reminiscent of the rescues in the Mystery Dungeon games. You can take on missions from a building in the middle of Isshu to help players who are in trouble.

- A new attack called "Magic Room" negates the effects of all items held by your and your opponent's Pokemon.

EDIT: Also, PokeBeach and Serebii were saying Rankurusu was the black goth Pokemon and Gochiruzeru was the green cell Pokemon... however Serebii is now saying they got it mixed up. Not sure which is correct right now cause I thought people had translated the names and they were right, but now Serebii is saying Rankurusu is the green Pokemon and Gochiruzeru is the black one, so I'm confused.
