Heading into Pokegaf if anybody wants to have some matches with a player that's only mildly bad
Super-fun character. Being able to glide around by jumping and holding block is brilliant. I feel Pokken captures Charizard's essence a lot better than Smash did.Lawd Charizard is so fuckin boss in this game
That's it for me, thanks challenger! GGs!

Speaking of surprisingly fast big scary monster characters, I was experimenting with Garchomp a while ago and I love his dig ability. It allows you to quickly close the gap between you and your opponent, and it appears to be pretty safe, too.Oh yeah, Charizard in Smash is weird to me despite loving him. To me Charizard is a pokemon who is relatively fast and can fly comfortably. In Smash I wish his jumps gave him the illusion of flight like say Mewtwo or Pit, with just a tad more speed. Charizard looks like he's struggling when he jumps in Smash.
To me Charizard in Smash should resemble what people fear from a potential Ridley.
Charizard in this game walks like a giant, big, slow and tough but when he was to move boy he can surprise you with his speed!
You can also cancel out of it to catch your opponent off guard and get a quick grab in.Speaking of surprisingly fast big scary monster characters, I was experimenting with Garchomp a while ago and I love his dig ability. Whoa, cool! How do you cancel out of the dig?You can also cancel out of it to catch your opponent off guard and get a quick grab in.

To this day I wonder if overheat moves of Blaziken are worth it.
Use the support cheer with togekiss and that helps. That's what I'm going to start using. In the Wii U version I used to use frogadier as my support. To this day I wonder if overheat moves of Blaziken are worth it.
I completed today's Daily Challenge with Darkrai but I have no idea what I'm doing with him. Seems like a super-technical setup character that's probably insane in the right hands.
I wish Braixen was real.
(Not in a creepy way, I swear)
Ah, I didn't think about the potential fire hazard. I always overlook the finer details! :-OAs much as I like Braixen, I'd legitimately be worried about it as a fire hazard. You don't want to have to go out to the shops and come back to find your place in cinders because your lil fox got bored while you were away. It's quite a step up from dogs chewing stuff or pooping when left unattended
On the upside they seem intelligent enough that you could probably play Pokken with them :3

In my head-canon, I like to think that Pokemon can control what their fire burns. Wasn't that a plot point in the cartoon? Ash riding on a Ponyta or Rapidash, unscathed, because it trusted him and wouldn't let its fire burn him?
So yeah. Maybe a pet Braixen would work the same way in real life. I couldn't explain the science of it, but hey — the world could use a lil' more magic!
What in the world...
Been thinking about this one. How big is the player base, any ideas? Just wondering if it'll have legs.

Does anyone have any advice on what kind of Cheering to use and support Pokemon to choose when playing Mewtwo?
Did his synergy gauge deplete when he gets attacked?
Mewtwo shouldnt be losing synergy gauge when hes getting hit. He consumes it though on certain attacks. Mewtwo has one of the best synergy bursts in the game with a fantastic synergy burst attack but he takes the longest to actually build it up.
Thanks for the clarification! I would have his gauge filled and then notice I didn't have it completely full anymore when I was about to use it.
Just went 1-9 in 10 ranked matches... feels terrible man. Not sure if I'm good enough at this game to enjoy playing online. Worst thing is I almost always go three rounds and often lose from a position of being up 400hp on the opponent in a round. I just have no idea how to get a quick poke in with Scizor when I need that last hit, and his grab has shit range and whether it's lag or not it never comes out quick enough.
So I went to play some Iron League matches against the CPU and got my ass kicked there. Yeah, I suck at this game...
One thing that is awesome is that I was getting a ranked match within 3 seconds every time, and despite living in the Caribbean I had only one laggy match. This is a game where I feel like it pays to have gotten in at launch.
