I'm sure a regression model would give the "Union member" a coefficient that suggested being in a union (all other factors being equal) would cause increased support for Sanders and that Hillary only dominates union households because they're made of older people with whom Hillary dominates all categories.

I wouldn't consider Obama "regular" regardless of his race. He's the best politician of our generation, by a fairly wide margin.
