Clinton campaign sent out an email saying no matter what happens in NV, we fight on.

I saw that union households only made up about 25% of the electorate tho.

But I do think Clinton will end up winning by 5 points now, from those entrance polls.

I'm sure a regression model would give the "Union member" a coefficient that suggested being in a union (all other factors being equal) would cause increased support for Sanders and that Hillary only dominates union households because they're made of older people with whom Hillary dominates all categories.

But it's still a little funny.

It's really starting to look like one of the candidates competing in today's caucus is going to be our nominee. This is momentous indeed.

Eh, he's just pointing out that the searches did match up with what happened (unexpectedly) in Iowa, so that it is worth keeping an eye on to see if it happens again.

Just got home from work...can someone fill me in on what's happening? Google doesn't have results up yet, but going by this thread seems like Bernie won? 😞

Well we haven't. We won in 2012. And before than we won in 2008. And before that I don't remember.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm but that's kinda my point.

They think because Twitter chews out homophobes and racist the countries now left and running a socialist who disdains foreign policy is a good plan.

Agreed. Not to mention the poster only mentions the presidential election completely forgetting about the Ls being taken at the state and local level. Those Ls are the huge problem in America right now and some thing getting the president to have a (D) next their name is the only thing that matters.

Or they can be a bit older and remember that running a regular candidate got dems rekt in 2000 and 2004. Or that the regular candidates got rekt in 2008.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And how often does the party run "radical" leftists at the local level?

I wouldn't call winning the popular vote in 2000 getting 'rekt'.

I don't even know what you're getting at by responding to my post with this. Did you misunderstand my post?

If that's what you take from 2004 and 2000 your completely wrong.

And you really think radical leftists will win on the local level? The fact this even has to be argued is frankly insane

To be fair, Obama was an outsider candidate in the sense that he was black.

But that would make Hillary an outsider candidate too. *shrug*

I think radical leftists could actually start winning on the city level (in major cities) though.

The right's echo chamber begain with old people who connected to Drudge on dial up and fox news on cable.

The left's is with young ones on social media.
I'm not sure who would count the first female black president as part of the establishment.
The guy who rose up through the establishment and delivered a speech in '04 at the establishment's convention?
