I've put a "just in case somehow the US actually vote this guy in" bet on Trump to win.

Odds were 4/1 Trump and 1/5 Hillary 5 mins ago.

Do they do sampling for US elections? Will we likely know the winner as the day goes on?

Exit polls mixed with what we already know should make it known pretty early.

Reposting here (+1 for Clinton!)

I'd also urge any MA undecided ballot voters to consider voting no on question 2. Charter schools can be a wonderful addition to communities, but as a public school teacher I have seen firsthand the realistic effect that they can have on district budgeting. We need better regulation before we raise the cap on charters.

Happy election day, all!

Also in MA, I went no on 1 and 2 and yes on 3 and 4.

3 was unexpectedly the one I had the hardest time with, ha.

Question for New Jersey GAF:. How did you vote on the referendum questions?

I'm leaning towards yes on the gas tax allocation. No fucking idea about the casinos, I may vote to allow them in North Jersey just to spite whoever paid for all those fear mongering ads.

About to go vote and wondering the same. Probably just going to leave them blank.

One of my friends on Facebook in Indianapolis is in a 90 min line to vote, so sounds like heavy turnout there (Dem stronghold).

+1 for Hilldawg in deep unwinnable red state KY. Run that popular vote up I guess.

I will say it was an odd experience this year; the polling place was absolutely packed like I've never seen before. 30m wait for what is usually no line or 5m at worst. Even stranger was the complete lack of Trump signs/bumper stickers, used to rows of Romney/McCain signs on the way to polling place.

Huh, my polling spot in Louisville was busy but was moving briskly. No wait for me at all. Felt good to vote against Donald Trump and Rand Paul.

+6 Here in Pennsylvania for Hillary in rural carbon county.. Straight democratic ticket for everyone here. Come on Philly. Don't let us down. No surprises PA.

+2 for the ultra competitive and highly contested state of New York.

Mom and I didn't have to wait very long. Maybe 5 minutes. It was crowded, but not too bad. I was the 32nd person to vote, my mom was 33. Guy was surprised she was a first time voter and I wasn't. He thought it was the other way around.

My brother's school though. Holy hell. It was madness. They were everywhere. Lines all around. Parking lot packed to the brim. So glad I don't vote at that location.

My mom is very proud she was able to vote for the first woman president.

These line stories are insane. And I witnessed it first hand. My brother's school is NEVER like this for voting. It wasn't even like this in 2008.

Turnout is going to be huge this year
