This kind of shit is why we should remove all special protections for elected officials. It's fine to have the secret service or whatever, but it shouldn't be a greater crime to punch a congressman than anyone else.
It's like how I'm fine with states that want to have open carry everywhere but that shit better be happening in the capital building, too.

My only fear about Zuckerberg is him damaging Booker in a debate. Seems like he's perfectly positioned to basically hit him with a perfect retort ("I believed in you, and invested in NJ schools...and you not only showed no leadership you did nothing as the money was wasted etc etc"). Zuckerberg is smart as fuck and a good debater but he's not winning shit...but he can hurt democrats, which troubles me.

I wouldn't be surprised if Zuckerberg has no expectation of winning and just plans to keep running until he gets it. He might think of 2020 as a practice run and not expect to actually win until like 2036 or something. He'd still only be in his early-50's at that point.

Has Zuckerberg always been a Democrat or is he just running as one? I'm not sure if it's just because he is super rich, but I always thought he a Republican.
Alarms have gone off, the GOP has sunk millions and millions into the Montana and Georgia races both, they've had all sort of people out to stump for Gianforte, including Pence, Ryan, Trump Jr.

Zuck seems like he's focusing his efforts on getting Rust Belt voters so he doesn't seem so coastal elite-y. He probably learned all the wrong lessons from 2016 so he'll likely have awful minority outreach.
