So there's this song I'm trying to figure out the artist and title. My nephews were signing it, but I'm not sure what the song is.

It starts out with a Oh la la la la la and then repeats. Sort of a dance beat in the background verses say a pop rock background. I know it's not much to go on, but I figured I'd try.

lol, I want to help, but about 87% of pop music has what you described. Is the melody full of synth? Did it sound like something reggae?

Elton backtracks over comments

Elton John hasn't had a hit in 15 years, but that didn't stop him from saying that Madonna's career is over (something we have heard since 1984). But what is upsetting a lot of people, many who aren't Madonna fans, is the fact that Elton used the nasty "C" word in order to describe Madonna.

Apparently, Elton John is still angry at Madonna for saying that Lady Gaga's song "Born This Way" is a ripoff of her own "Express Yourself." This is something that many critics noted when the song came out. Instead of acknowledging that the songs were similar, Lady Gaga went out of her way to thank Whitney Houston for inspiring the song. She then told Jay Leno that Madonna sent her an email of support, even though Madonna clearly denied this.

Now, Elton John is backpeddling from his nasty comments and saying that they were meant to be said "off the record." Molly Meldrum, who originally did the interview, is not backpedding at all and indicates that Elton John is smart enough to know that when the camera is on, anything is open to scrutiny. This comes at a time when Elton John has been playing to empty theaters that hold 3,000 seats while Madonna has been playing to audiences of 70,000 per night.

Sad but true. Madonna may be a bit out-of-touch these days, but if that's true of her then Elton is a damn fossil. Nobody has given a fuck about him or his music for a long time. Hell, he can't even TOUR like a legacy act.

Kala just felt like it was jumping all over the place, and sounded incredibly messy the whole way through. Arular felt much more cohesive from start to finish. The songs were easier to get into and were just... better.

For all you gurls who were crying while listening to the new Aaliyah song but then got to the Aubrey verse, I gots some good news.

For the first time ever, Aaliyah's Facebook fan page has suddenly started posting all sorts of stuff within the past day or so, including this Tweet.

Blessed news, tbh.

Her fan page just posted a message asking people to voice their opinions on who should produce it and be featured on it, because the "Haughton family wants to hear what the fans have to say."

Janet is one of Aaliyah's idols, and she wanted to collaborate with her on a song, so I'm hoping it can still somehow happen.
