I knew 2012 would be shit as soon as 2011 ended. I'm expecting 2013 to be a lot like 2011 except the big headliners will have more mainstream hits (Gaga, Bey, Justin, etc.).
I spot many lies in this post.
Many people check for Katy Buddha, at least in her home country. (I don't see how her popularity relates to the quality of her music but ok)
4 is Beyonce's best album with or without radio support (something that is irrelevant when we are discussing QUALITY)
Gaga didn't jump the shark. Born This Way featured many of Gaga's absolute best songs (Scheisse, Bloody Mary, Heavy Metal Lover)

Justine is a wild card. His success is tied to the quality of the music, especially since people hold his sophomore effort in high regard. Justine certainly has enormous potential to smash though; it will be his fault if he cocks it up, since there is a lot of hype surrounding the release.

I'm thinking a combination of quality and commercialism. A good year for me doesn't just have great music (EVERY year has great music if you dig deep enough), but a combination of great music and great music that becomes successful. Eh.

Instead of doing the smaller updates, this final mega post will explain every choice I made when nicknaming certain pokémon I caught. This was all done in good fun.
Kyon
Starter Pokemon are usually ones you keep with you throughout the entire game, and kyon is someone who has been with me since I first joined popgaf.
Bladenic
Lucario was a fun character to play with in smash bros, and Bladenic is someone I have had a lot of fun times with in popgaf... whether it be arguing, chatting, or listening to game music in his dj room.
Royalan
One of my favorite pokemon, and royalan is definitely one of my favorite posters. He is very loyal, graceful, and slays just as hard as Arcanine.
Second
It looks strong and sturdy, like second. And it also looks like it just stole a blank of wood from someone's house, like Second's fave might.
Trigger
When I first encountered this pokemon, it was poisoning each of my Pokemon. Much like how Trigger shades everyone's faves. Then it evolved into the thing above, and reminded me of Trigger's ability to roll back and forward between stan bases.
SaintZ
SaintZ has those piercing eyes that look through you, like a magnemite's eye. I also learned something new about both of them recently: Magnemite is a great pokemon, and SaintZ has great taste in television.

I originally captured this pokemon as a small crocodile that was playing in dirt. DMJ's fave is rihanna, which is as close as playing in dirt as you can get without actually doing it. Then it evolved into this angry red thing, which looks like a bully. Granted, it kicks ass in battle.
Nemesis
It looks so fun and adorable at first, but then it kept using the attack "rage" against me. And it used some fire attack which reminded me of googoosha. It later learned other moves that dealt with anger, which had me cackling.
Soulscribe
This thing is cute, and cuddly just like Scribe. It also packs a surprising punch, like most of scribe's post. I just loved having this thing around me, and Scribe has that type of good presence about him too.
Crumpet
The pokemon this thing evolved from is really cute, like Crumpet. I first thought it had baggy pants, but it was actually its skin. It later evolved and had a skin hoodie. How perfect.
Robido
It looks really angry about something. It also looks jaded.
Satch
As soon as I saw it I thought of a vulva.
Mumei
One head houses the brain of an animal loving male. The other head holds the thoughts of a vicious, and sometimes homicidal, female. Both heads some how co-exist in this really strong pokemon. Not sure how that relates to Mumei, but one of these things did clock a large portion of my team once, which reminded me of Mumei's rihanna ban spree.
B-Dex
I remember watching an episode of the pokemon cartoon a long time ago, and Heracross was just sucking the sap out of trees and bulbasaur. B-dex just seems like the type of guy who would suck the sap out of something.

I used this pokemon to fly around. I guess you could say it was always high.

I caught golduck for the sole purposing of using it to surf. Much like the person it was named after, golduck was only good at doing one thing.
Koodo
There are two reasons I named this thing Koodo. first, it packs a serious punch... able to clock most things with one hit. Second, it's big, hairy and touching it self... just the way Koodo likes his men.

Marius is so flawless, much like absol. It's one of my favorite gen3 pokemon, and Marius is definitely one of my favorite popgaffers. Also, Have you ever seen a coat of fur on a pokemon that is as immaculate as Absol's fur? Or cutting blade as sharp as absol's blade?

I also captured moulels and superman, but the reasons for them are pretty lame: a baby monkey for moulels cause he is still a junior, and a metal bird for superman cause ... well... "superman."
Unfortunately, I could NOT find a Dragonair which Leona requested I nickname after her, but if I do I will. *.*
Remember, this was all in good fun. And I used everyone I captured in battles, some more than others. Ok, this post is way too long, time to wrap it uP. Thanks for reading~
