I agree. Circa TFM I thought Gaga was just better at being a pop star than everyone else. She wasn't serious, it was all manufactured, but it was knowing. She wore stupid costumes in public, she did ridiculous costumes, she gave ridiculous interviews, it felt like she knew that being a pop star meant being absurd and manufactured and it was all kind of a joke.

Then the Little Monsters thing started and it all became weird and creepy.
